Chapter 1
A new begining 

Beneath the castle in the dungons of Alexandrea is a boy. Not your natural boy though. He was the King of Alexandera. Yet his love betrayed him and destroyed his heart. No one knew why, and no one wnated to see his death come upon him, at only 18 years old. The whole town was morning for the fact of his death was approching. 
Zidane Tribal sat on the dungon floor teary eyed and worried. He knew his death drew nearer and nearer. He looked outside to the bright day. He smiled to himself but his smile soon faded. He looked over to a mirror and saw himself as he once was, and how he was now. His blonde hair was like straw. His blue eyes were faded. His face was long and pale. His body was thin and his bones showed through his skin. He wasn't well fed ans anyone could see, and dark lines under his eyes sugessted lack of sleep.
He used to be a thief, well fed and strong. He had mucles and was very good of not showing them off unless he was flirting with a girl. He had Bright blue eyes that shone so bright with innocence. He was dark skined and his whiteish blonde hair shone against his skin. His hair used to be to his shoulders, now it hung at his back. 
He turned away from himself and looked to where he was. It was a dark old dungon and nothing more. He walked over to a pile of straw and laid down. He closed his eyes and began to cry. He knew that everyone would remember them, weather it be a good thing or a bad thing. He knew everyone in Alexandera liked him even as a ruler. He cried thinking that he had done something wrong, when he really knew that Garnet was just using him. 
"I wish that i could be far away from here, weather it be alive or dead." he muttered to himself.
He fell asleep that morning knowing that in a few hours, he would be in that far away place

I woke up cold and damp form the cell. I knew that it would be soon before i would die. I began to think to myself of all the fun things i did. I know my life has been short, but I have done a lot of great things that i will never forget. Like the time we performed for Regent Cid in Lindablum. I was the lead role after the show every one clapped for me. I knew that those were the memories i will keep in my soul. 
I looked toward the door to the cell.....it was open. I was confused and lost for no one was around me saying 'Get up it is now time.' I got up out of my bed and walked over to the door and walked out through it. I felt free......it was an amazing feeling being that i have been imprisioned for a year. 
I smiled like a curse had been lifted off me. I was so happy to know that i was free.....well happy to know that i might be free.
"Really now, but should i walk right out of here?" I asked myself as i fell to my knees. I knew I was weak and i needed to get out of here, "Which way?" 
I looked down the hall i came from. I knew this had been too easy to get out. I knw with my lack of strength i wouldn't make it out. I had to find another way out of here.
"Garnet you really should check on him more often." I heard from the left of me.
"Look Beatrix he can't get out the door is locked." I heard Garnet say.
I knew at once that Beatrix had let me out of my cage. I glacned over to a cut out edge that no one ever noticed and i jumped with what little strength i had into it. 
"All right, we'll check on him now then." Garnet said to Beatrix.
"After you your magisty," I saw Beatrix bow.
I saw Garnet slowly walk into the room. Her head held high and her white dress lifted off the ground. She didn't want it dirty. I saw her look into the cell.
"He's gone. Garuds search the area, Beatrix stay down here if he appers here." Garnet Ordered. 
"Yes ma'am." Beatrix bowed. 
Garnet left the dungon in a hurry. She ran up the stairs like she was going to get jumped by someone.
"Zidane, come out please?" Beatrix said.
"Behind you." I looked up to see her face. Her smile made me feel comfortable. 
"Are you all right?" She asked as she helped me down from my perch.
"Can't really do anything. To weak to do much." I looked at her.
"Zidane I can't see you like this any longer. I mean you deserve to live, you did nothing." Beatrix helped me up.
"Well know you don't have to see me like this." I looked up her. I couldn't smile though. I haven't really smiled for like a year.
"Smile Zidane it might do yo some good." She said as she began to walk me down the hall. 
"I can't and i won't for awhile." I replied.
She got me out of the castle somehow and into the city. I was half asleep so i don't remember much. When i awoke i saw someone above me, it wasn't beatrix but i knew them.
"Ah, nice to see yer again." 
"Ruby?" I asked as i squinted to see her face.
"Yeah, why wouldn't it be?" She smiled softly.
"Where is Beatrix?" I asked and hoped she didn't get caught.
"She's back at the castle helping Garnet look fer you. You see she came here disguised and dropped you off at my door." Ruby explained.
"Oh......is Blank here?" I ask weakly.
"Yea, but he thinks you are asleep. So wy don't you, you need to rest." Ruby put a wet towel over my head. 
"All right." I said as i closed my eyes.
As i rolled over i fell asleep. I didn't dream nor have a nightmare. I slept. I didn't know how long though. When i woke up i heard two people talking downstairs.
"Zidane is beginging to look like his brother. He has long silver hair unlike his naturall blonde." I heard a mans voice so i thought it might be Blank.
"Look Blank, So what if he looks like Kuja. We'll still protect him." Ruby said.
"Your right." Blank said softly yet i could hear it,"So how are you two doing?"
"Fine we're doing fine." I knew it then, Ruby was pregent. 
"Why don't i go check up on Zidane." Blank asked.
"All right." Ruby said, "And if he is awake, have him come down here and eat." 
"All right," 
I heard foot steps coming up the stairs. They wern't loud but you could hear them. I sat up and looked at the door. As he entered the door i saw what he looked like. His long red hair hung to his shoulders like mine once did. He had bright green eyes. I have never seen his eyes before. He wore a white tee shirt and some jeans. I tried to smile but it wouldn't come.
"Zidane, hey bro." 
"Hey Blank." I smiled at last and i felt really free jus by doing that.
"Why don't you come down the stairs and eat with us."
"All right, hey is Ruby pregent?" I asked as i got up and tried to stand.
"Yeah........" Blank blushed.
"Lah," I fell over, My tail wasn't balencing right. 
"Here let me help you." Blank helped me up.
"Thanx bro." I had a hint of life in me, even he could see that. 
He helped me down the stairs to the kitchen. I sat in a chair and for once it didn't get in the way of my tail. I looked up to see that Ruby was cooking and blank was setting the table.
"Is there enything you want me to do?" I asked since i wasn't doing anything really. 
"No it is ok. You really can't walk so i don't want you to hurt yourself." Blank smiled at me.
"Ok." I looked down at the table and saw a piece of paper there." do you have a pencil? or a Quill?" I asked.
"Yes we do," Ruby got me a pencil and walked over to the oven and finished cooking.
"Thanx Ruby." I acutally gave her my trademark smile. Just sleeping was enough to make me feel better. 
"Yer welcome." Ruby walked over to me and handed me my food as i was drawing.
"Oh thanx." I picked up my fork and began to eat.

"Zidane i really wish you could stay." Ruby smiled at me.
"Nah, i think i'll be ok." I said as my silver hair glitered in the light. 
"By, Zidane. We will see you again?" Blank asked.
"Yeah, i'll come back one day." I smiled again.
I looked into his green eyes and as he looked into my revcovered blue ones. I gave him a hug like no other. His red hair and my silver hair seemded to bond. As we pulled away i looked back to his eyes saying a silent goodbye. I turned to ruby and smiled. Her smile made me feel better about myself. I gave her a hug as well. 
"This is not goodbye Zidane." Ruby pulled away almost in tears.
"No, this is good night." I said as te sun set.
Ruby smiled at me. I smiled back. I knew that they would be happy to see my leave to go and do other things. I truned ane waled away. I knew once i left here, my life would be so much beter. I looked up as i walked and saw how beautiful the suset was. 
As i walked down Aelxandera, I smiled to myself with my long silver hair tied behind me. I was once again a free man. I stopped at the water foutian and stared at my reflection in the water. I had pale skin, just like my brothers, but my blue eyes couter acted as the 'im not kuja' thing. I saw how my hair looked. It was silver but it looked really good with my pale skin. I knew that i was to turn out to look like my brother for the events that took place at the Iifa Tree. 
I looked around at the scenery, for if i was lucky i would see it again with out my life being at steak. As i lookeda round I began to here a young girl crying. I looked around to find who was crying. When i found her i smiled down on her and i sat at her level.
"Exscues me, i must know why you are crying my dear?" I asked the poor girl.
"Well, Garnet yelled at me, and she told me that i wasn't suposed to be on Zidanes side and that i helped in his escape." the young girl said in between sniffles.
"Well now thats not fair. Deary tell me your name." I looked into her eyes.
"Eiko Carol." She simply stated whule staring at me.
"Well Eiko, i recived a letter from your Father, Regent Cid, telling to bring you home." I smiled olding her the letter.
"He did?" Eiko grabbed the letter and began to read, "Dear Zidane. i want you to bring my daughter home since i know that something is going on in Alexandera. Please hurry before anything happens to her."
"So let us go...." I began to say when eiko jumped onto me.
"Zidane....It's really you........i can't believe it is you. I-"
"Don't say anything more Eiko, jus lets go before your father gets to worried." I smiled at her and set her back on the ground.
"You look so much like your brother it is jus weird." she gave me that 'i don't reconize you but i know you' look.
"I'll explain later." I smiled again, "Now lets go be for anything happens."
"All right." She smiled and stood up next to me.
We began to walk toward Aexanderia's outer limits. As we passed the gate to the castle i shuddered. I knew that i had to return there someday. I looked down to my side. Eiko was now 9 years old. Her hair was at her shoulders, and her eyes were as curious as ever. I smiled to myself thinking of the adventures we had. I knew that she woud remember those days too.
As we reached the gates to Alexanderia's outer limts, I pulled out the letter from Cid. I knew the garuds were going to stop me and i was really hopping that Beartix or Stiener was there so i don't get caught.
I looked past the limits t owhere i was to go and i saw Choco, my Chocobo, was standing outside waiting for me.
"Halt," I looked up to see two gaurds blocking my way to freedom.
"You must show us some sort of ID in order to get out." the First gaurd said.
"My name is Eiko Carol, I am Regent Cid's daughter." Eiko stepped foward with the falcons claw.
"Lady Eiko you may pass. Who might you be?" The second gaurd asked.
"My name is Louis and I have come to take Eiko home." I stated they stared at each other. 
"Let me see some ID you, and a letter from Cid." I panicked as i handed them the letter. I saw the second gaurd looked up at me.
I smiled sweetly and began to run.
"After him, it's Zidane, he's kidnapping lady Eiko!" they began to shase after me.
"Up you go" i lifted Eiko on to the Choco.
"Ok all ready." i asked as i jumped up behind her. 
'Reday choco?' i asked in his language.
'ready.' Choco lifted off the ground and began to fly toward Lindablum.
"Zidane, are we going to make it alive?" Eiko asked.
"Why would the shoot us down if it would endanger the princess?" I smiled ," Don't worry. We'll make it." 
I saw the gaurds yelling behind us as we flew into the distance. I smiled knowing that i was free, and i go Eiko out safely.  I looked foward to where my destination lay. I smiled knowing what fate had in store for me. Why i was worried was a different thing. I know that there would be people looking for me but i am not as easy to find any more. 
I looked down to see eiko fast asleep in my arms. I smiled down at her. She looked so peaceful and so innocent. I smiled again and looked up to the path ahead of me. The sun was comming up jus behind lidiblum. I was amazed to see how beautiful the colors of dawn were. The blues and golds and bronze, all mixed well into a nice arrangment of colors. I realized that a chocobo was much faster than the Prim Vista. I laughed to myself, while trying not to wake eiko. 
We reached lidiblum in am matter of minutes. I landed in the docking area for air ships. I didn't think the gaurds would mind, but they did. 
"What is the meaningof this." I heard from down the hall. 
"Regent Cid. This ingrate here has landed a chocobo in the middle of our dock." one of the gaurds said.
"Who is it." Cid looks past the gaurds. "Zidane nice to see you again. I see you got my letter and my daughter. Thank you so much. I know that Garnets up to something." Cid smiled as he took Eiko from my arms.
"Cid let me tell you what she is planning." I looked around suspiciously, "Alone please."
"All right. Follow me then." Cid carried Eiko down the halls of the huge castly to her tiny room. 
He set her down slowly and tucked her into bed. She looked so innocent as she slept. She was innocent, yet she looked so pure as she laid there breathing softly. Her soul was pure. I knew this, i know who's souls are pure and who's aren't. I am a prophet and yet i can see the past.
"Zidane, follow me." Cid led me from Eiko's room to  the Thron room.
As we entered the room i saw Hilda there. She was stuning in a beautiful blue dress and her green eyes shinning bright. She looked better then when Kuja took her. I smiled knowing that what we did helped her anc Cid get closer.
"Zidane, my good ness you look hansome." Hilda said as she walked over to me, "How old are you me boy?"
"19 ma'am." I said as se looked at me puzzled.
"The last time i saw you .....you were like 17. Gosh it has been so long." She smiled sweetly.
"I know....so how are you?" I asked as she walked over to a table and sat down.
"Fine, but i am going to leave you boys here so you can talk about whatever." She smiled and got up from her chair and walked out the door.
"Well, what do you want to know now Cid?" I asked as i sat down on a chair, backwards of course.
"Any thing you know so i can prepare my self." Cid nodded, "But before we start, would you like something to eat."
"Antyhing will wok and could i get some water with that?" I asked as he told a servent what to bring them.
"All right," Cid went on and ordering for me, i didn't hear what he was ordering me, i heard a voice from my past.....who...what was it?
"Zidane, are you ok?"  Cid asked as he turned around to face me. 
I saw that he was worried and tired. He looked like he hasn't gotten sleep in like days. I noticed that he was malnurioshed so that ment he was going to eat alot today.
"Yeah, i am, now i am worried about you. are you ok regent?" I asked as he sat down.
"Zidane, I'm getting old and tired, i can't run his much longer, i need to wither die or retaire. And if Garnet attacks us, i don't think i'll be able to run it any longer. I might turn it to Hilda or Eiko, but i am not sure she is ready to take it at such a young age." Cid bowed his head.
He was right, Lidiblum couldn't with stand another attack from Alexadera. And since Garnet has her Edilons, it might not take her that long to conqure.
"I'll do everything i can, see i ahve got something up my sleeve that she doesn't know about. Not many people do." I smiled.
"Do tell Zidane, my weary ears can still hea." He smiled.
"I am a Mage, I also know a edilon that was at the Iifa Tree after it was destroyed. Like the Ediloin chooes me, most edilons are aquired, not found. Also the people the edilons are with considerthem their master. This one had to judge me. She said I had 'the purest soul n all the land,' and that 'i'll meet some one with as pure as a soul as i."' i nodded recalling the fackts from Literature. 
"i have head of this. There are only two people on the planet who have the purest of souls, and once they meet, they together can vanquish evil." Cid smiled hopping that it was true.
"That is Right Regent," I heard the voice of my edilon echo throught out the room."Zidane has on of the purest souls, and Cid don't worry, if you decend from the thron, I am sure Eiko will do well." 
I could see my edilion's figuar in the room. I know that Cid actually saw her. He know that she was an angel.
"She is so beautiful, Zidane. You should be lucky to know that she will always be there for you. She will give you strength." Cid smiled as he looked toward the door, "Eiko, come on in don be shy." 
I smiled as she entered the room. I knew that she was going to haft ta take the throne.  And if that is the Regents choice, I am willing to help her. No matter wat happens to me..

Chapter 5
Willows POV

I looked out my window of my room and stared at the house across from me.  I was on my phone talking to Iktomi and asking about her manga she was writing. She was explaining what was to happen next. Then I heard the doorbell ring.  I ran down stairs to see who it was. 
To my surprise I saw two men standing outside my door. 
“Mikki hold on for a second ok.” I set the phone down and opened the door, “Hello.”
“Hi, We were wondering if you were Jacklyn Davis?” the man with silver hair asked.
“Why yes I am.” I smiled.
“My name is Kuja Kyusho.  You could consider me an alien…but I am here to take you off this planet.” Kuja, the silver haired man, told me.
“Really,” I raised my eyebrow again.
“Yeah,” Kuja smiled.
“Hee hee…ha ha ha ha ha!” I laughed and then slammed the door on them.

I picked up the phone and began to talk with Mikki again.
“Mikki I just had two psycho paths at my door, wanted to take me somewhere!” we both started to laugh and began to talk about something else.
“Jacki what if they were telling the truth about taking you to space?” Mikki asked over the phone.
“You actually heard that?! ….well I never thought about that….but if they did they wouldn’t be so stupid as to ask me at my door. They would take me away unexpectedly and then would be forced to get you!” I smiled though she couldn’t see.
Mikki laughed to herself and I heard her put her pencil down. 
“I was drawing Milo and Dogan kissing just because I can!”
“Oh bet Dogan likes that!” I laughed.
“Yeah I know,” Mikki laughed with me.
“Well it is late I better go to bed.” I walked up the stairs and waked into my room. 
“Oh but I wanted to tell you something.”  Mikki complained
“Tell me tomorrow.” I yawned, “ I’ll talk to you tomorrow…ok?”
“Ok, good night.” 
“Good night.” I hung up the phone and went to sleep.

“Willow, Willow wake up.” I heard someone say from above me.
“No mommy le me sleep longer.” I smacked the hand away.
“I am not your mommy, Jacki it’s me Raven!” I opened my eyes and sure enough it was Raven.
“Raven how did you get into my house?” I asked sleepily.
“Look, you are not in your house anymore. You are on Kuja’s ship, along with me. Skid and Mikki and Raini haven’t gotten on yet.”
“Really?” I got up slowly and walked over to the window. And sure enough there was Earth, a giant blue ball with masses of and water. I was in space, the final frontier.
“How did I get here?” I asked Raven while looking for my clothes.
“Kami brought you here, along with your clothes. They are in the closet.”  Raven pointed to the wooden door to the closet.
”Kami? Who is Kami?” I asked as I walked toward the closet. 
“Kami is the one with the blue hair,” Raven smiled.
“You mean him? He looks creepy.” I said while walking in to my closet.
“Yes him, I think he is cute.” Raven said and I knew she was smiling.
“You would.” I muttered to myself.
“What did you say?”
“Oh nothing Raven, I was just talking to myself.” I smiled as I walked out in a black tee shirt and my red and black pants.
“Cute outfit. Now I need to check on someone, do you want to help me?” Raven asked as I began to brush my hair.
“Who is this person of yours and what is their problem?” I asked while looking at Raven through the mirror.
“He is mentally unstable, and needs help on regaining his memory and physical being back. The medic here has tried everything, yet he has failed.” Raven pointed out.
“Is he one of those impossible cases that needs a miracle worker to make it possible to be able to be himself again?” I glanced over to her.
“Yeah, and we are going to be the angels of mercy.” Raven smiled and I nodded.
“All right lets go see this person of yours.” I smiled and followed her out of the room.

The halls seemed endless for the all looked the same. I did notice that they crew of the ship was reconstructing the walls to be different so you wouldn’t get lost.
I looked over to see where Ta was going. I saw her turn into a room and I followed. 

“Blank, how is Zidane?”  Ta said as she looked over a few record checks.
“He has been improving.  Tough we haven’t had any major breaks through.” Blank replied.
“Great, as long as he has improved. Willow I want you to talk to him. Try to see if he’ll respond to any names or places.” Raven ordered me.
“All right.” I looked over to the bed and saw a boy. He looked around 16 years old. His blonde hair was tangled and long. His blue eyes were faded and looked like he was traumatized as a boy, “Zidane.”
I saw his head move and Blank wrote down that he responded to his name. I noticed he looked frightened and worried that I would hurt him.
“Zidane, if you understand me nod you head.” I saw him nod his head, “All right, I am going to ask ‘yes’ and ‘no’ questions, all right.” He nodded his head again in response. 
“Do you remember your past?” He nodded his head, “Can you tell me?” she shook his head no. “All right, do you remember any one from your past, like, a woman or a man that stands out in your mind?” He nodded quickly. 
It went on like this for like half and hour. I didn’t know how long Ta wanted me to do this so I just stopped after the 40h question. I knew enough that would hurt me as well as him. He was alone, and he needed help.

“Tauni, this isn’t right, he is not insane, he is just alone and needs someone to help take care of him.” I turned to her.
“Not insane? He almost killed Blank with his own dagger!” Tauni shouted at me.
“No it is not that, he said it was because of Marcus, he can mistake Blank for Marcus!” I calmly stated. “Let him walk around with someone to protect him and to be with him. I mean he needs some freedom on this closed space.” I looked at Tauni. 
“All right willow, but you have the responsibility until he can fend for himself.” Tauni sighed.
“Arigatou Gouzaimasu.” We all jumped to see it was Zidane who said it. “Gomenasai I should have told you sooner but you wouldn’t let me get up to walk around.” I saw Zidane smile. 
“You mean to tell my that you weren’t insane? That you jus needed to be protected?” TA asked in disbelief. 
“I said I was sorry.  I didn’t mean it to seem that I was insane. I just needed someone to talk to. I was lonely and I wanted to kill myself because If that.” Zidane explained.
“All right, jus get out f my sight.” Tauni pointed out of the room.
“Ja ne.” Zidane said as he walked out f the room and in this confusion I followed him out into the hallway.
