WORLDS COLLIDE
EPISODE
FOUR
Dagger
and Steiner had finally made it to South Gate after going through many
challenges along the way. They battled many monsters, Steiner wisely used his
abilities as a swordsman creatively, and Dagger had always healed him (and
herself) whenever they were seriously hurt. When they reached there, Dagger knew
that the guards would automatically recognize her and would send her back to the
palace in an uncomfortable situation. So the young teenager told Steiner to take
a sack and put tons of the pickles from Lindblum in it. Then she would have to
be in the sack as well, so when the guards searched it, they wouldn't notice
her.
Of
course, Steiner didn't enjoy the thought at first, but when Dagger commanded him
to, it had to be done her way at any cost. She told him that when they where in,
to find a hidden place for Dagger to get out. When he found it, he would say a
password: " 'Tis foolishness! If all where so easy, why, non would suffer
in this world!", the line from "I Want to be Your Canary". So the
two made it into South Gate with no problems at all. Steiner made it through,
sweet-talked a few helpless people, got a gate pass, and hid in an alley. Then
he said the password, and Dagger got out. Then the two made it on there way into
a trolley and headed towards Alexandria.
Raziel was
overwhelmed that he was not burning from the acidic touch from the rain as he
would when he was a vampire instead of the Angel of Death. He was relieved
because it rained endlessly in this kingdom, and was surprised that the area
wasn't under water and flooded. Lara was pretty shocked too that the kingdom was
like this. She thought in her mind, How on Earth could Freya live in a place
such as this? It was a rather good question to her opinion. When the troupe
made it into the kingdom, the two clowns appeared again and through black mages
at them.
Now Lara
and Raziel had enough of all this nonsense of black mages and killer clowns from
Gaia. The two charged at the mages and clawed at them endlessly, shot them with
shotguns with a never-ending rage, it was carnage breaking out! Zidane, after
standing for a few moments, open-mouthed and shocked, decided to join them.
Freya, Vivi and Quina hopped in as well. After the brawling was over, the two
clowns came out again. The blue one was called Zorn, the pink one was Thorn.
Lara found them quite annoying, and as for Raziel, he began thinking of his next
dinner.
"Pay dearly for this you two will!" Thorn
shouted.
"He is
correct! The general will get you for this!" Zorn added
in.
"Yes! Very
scary it is, when the general gets angry!" Thorn
chirped.
"Don't sing
it, sweethearts! Just bring it!" Lara roared.
With a
strong leap, Lara jumped for those two and chased after them. The two clowns
would've hit her with some magic, but they where so terrified they couldn't
move! Lara went chasing after them and Zidane and the others were left watching.
They decided to help her chase Zorn and Thorn before they lost her. So while
Freya jumped ahead and Raziel glided near the ground while the others ran, they
followed Lara. Finally, the tomb raider lost her patience. She pulled out her
pistols and released a few shells, the noise ringing in the air, piercing the
silence of Burmecia.
Zorn and
Thorn felt an unspeakable pain impact into their bodies. They were just running
from a woman...an ordinary woman, or so they thought. Before they knew it, about
six burning, utterly painful objects struck them hard in their backs. It was as
if somebody had picked them up and thrown them after the impact, for that the
force was unbelievably strong for them to handle. They crashed into a statue of
a large, tall rat. Blood came squirting out of their backs, the two began
gasping for air. The jokers took their last breaths... and then all was darkness
for them...
"Lara! What have you done?" Zidane cried
out.
"What?"
Lara snapped.
"This is
murder, Lara! Surely you were brought up better then THAT!" Freya
sputtered.
"They were sending creatures out to kill us, so I decided to destroy
the source of that threat to us..." Lara
explained.
"Have you no feelings? That bad! They might be bad jokers, but
commerade killing bad jokers is like sour grapes! Taste bad!" Quina
shouted.
"I
think she did nothing wrong." Raziel said, walking to Lara and placing a
claw on her shoulder.
"What?"
Zidane stammered.
"Those black
mages were threating us, and those clowns were the source of our attackers.
Nothing wrong with what Lara did. Now can we carry on?" Raziel
protested.
"Sure, whatever..." Zidane said.
And for sure, the troupe was heading for more
danger...
