With all of the magazines that I subscribe to, and all of the news I have read on the internet, I was really pleased to see that the sequel to FFX was based on Yuna's desire to find her love, Tidus. I must say that I'm a little confused. First of all, I have played and beaten FFX, and I don't really understand Tidus's situation. They say that he is being dreamt, and he vanishes after they defeat sin. But I don't quite understand, maybe I'm just slow or something but I'm not sure what is going on.
Anyways, in the sequel, Kimhari finds an orb or something that shows Tidus locked up in a water-like prison, and he is demanding to see Yuna. He says things like, "I had to use the machina to save the summoner!" This is quite confusing to me. At the end of FFX he gives his dad a high five. Isn't Jecht dead? Wouldn't that make Tidus dead too? I don't understand, haha. Don't get me wrong, I love FFX and the storyline is probably one of the best I have ever seen in any game. I was just a little disappointed at the end of the game, and I don't want to be disappointed again in the sequel. I just hope that he is ok, and that Yuna finds him and they can be together again. Don't you?
The ending sure is a tear-jerker, and they should make up for that in FFX-2. I hope it all works out, and I can't wait to play the game! What do you think?
