I really wanted to say this, for the longest time, but never got around to it. I don't know what you'll think about this, but I thought it'd be pretty damn sweet (well to me anyway).

I was thinking... maybe the members of this site could make FAQs for video games that we've played (RPG games only, which could be suited for the RPGsite).

Currently, I'm making a walkthrough for Wild ARMs 4. Character Bios, Elements, Weapons and Armors, Enemy Bios, Towns, etc. the whole thing. Make it easy for people that read it easy to look around through.

I know there's official guides (which cost about $20), and many other FAQs for RPG games, but I know UFF members are very creative, and it would be fun to do. Many of us are playing different games, so we could cover multiple videogames.

So what do you UFF'ers think about this? It may not be the best idea, but it's something, and it seems fun to do if your ever board.

Full guides for games are MASSIVE. They're generally not something you just off and write on a whim. The guys at GameFAQs take AGES perfecting guides. It's not a bad idea, but it's more of a personal project that you take on and figure through yourself, rather than suggesting that a ton of people get in on it. -Shrug.-

Well its not my decision, but I think its always good for members to contribute content to the site of they have the time & the inclination. Obviously it would all have to be vetted for quality but I doubt that would be a problem. The more content the better, but as Tim says - its not an arbitrary thing. I think it would certainly be nice to have our own exclusive guides. The only problem is that it would be pointless trying to remotely compete with GameFAQs, although now that I think about it, I did have some trouble finding the FFV information I wanted on there. I think it would have to be limited to the FF games & any other hosted sites we have though, as RPGSite is more of a news & reviews type of thing. But yeah..Silver's call really. Well dome for bringing up the subject though; you've definitely got a valid point :)
