All style over substance, from what I saw. But then, maybe you have to be a huge Final Fantasy 7 fan to appreciate it fully.

I thought it had great substance, especially with the fighting scenes.

I know for a fact that you're not a fan of FF7, Joe, and this movie was obviously made for the fans of the game. It wasn't targeted at you, so it most likely wouldn't appeal you. ;)

Advent Children is an anime.

Anime is animation that has the style of Asian cartoons, whether it be in cartoon form or created through computer generated.

There is even American Anime, but that would get me way off topic. ;)

Advent Children was really cool but I think they could of a few things differently... one being making it longer. :D

Last Order was alright as well but they didn't stay true to the video game's account of the events...

Last order wasn't that bad. Although, it did screw with the original story a little. But I believe that was cleared up by Square.
