Yeah, that's right - I finally found myself a free slot in order to do such a thing. :winky:
Basically, I'm doing this to write an RPGSite article on it and also to see if it's humanly possible for an average joe like me to undertake said challenge and come out of it, sanity still intact.
The current idea behind this is that I'm going on my Xbox 360 for 24 hours, playing 24 different games and unlocking 24 achievements in said time limit. I'll have to do some breaks in between, but my console won't be turned off at any point, even if my Xbox Live connection has to be broken due to a shit PC. Afterwards, I'll fully write it up for all to see.
If anyone else is interested in this, then I'm pulling it off at 12pm on the 28th of December through to the 29th at 12pm. I'll be up for playing with any members of the site at games of various titles, as well as have some good conversations, interviews etc.
On top of this, to give me an additional challenge aside from the achievements (stopping me from completely point-whoring) I'm asking people to set me realistic achievements for the event. I'm looking for an additional 12 challenges to last the duration of the event. For example, two of my mates have already set me three between them:
>> Take That Challenge - Sing the song "Patience" down the microphone and get more than 10 people to leave any said game.
>> Pretty Boy - Persuade any person playing with you that you're a girl and get chatted up.
>> Angelic Asshole - Don't swear or cuss for the entire 24 hours, but get booted from a game.
This challenge was heavily inspired by a game reviewer who did the same thing for a magazine a couple of months back, but I'm undertaking it in a slightly different manner.
Also, shall I post this on RPGSite's news so other people are aware of it? Get some of the general public interviewed etc.
