Pikachu is cute and all, but he's lame. There is no way he could 'Pika pika' his way out of the way of the Masamune.

Therefore, and this goes against all my beliefs, but Sephiroth takes it.

Not only just on principle, but due to the fact that lightning bolts do a hell of a lot more damage than a longsword and has a better range too.

But let's face it. Sephiroth is a bad guy. Bad guys don't win. It's in the rules or something.

Pikachu would survive one Super Nova.

But he wouldn't survive the second. Despite the fact it's physically and astronomically impossible to replicate the attack. All the same, that'd finish him off nicely.

As much as it pains me to say, Sephiroth would win this little fight. Pikachu is indeed just a mouse with electrical power. Sephiroth is a one winged angel with awe inspiring powers. No real contest here.
