Gonna keep this one short..

What do you guys (and gals) do when your feeling like s**t/depressed and want to cheer up a bit? Tryed fresh air, food, etc. and its not working. Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks. :|

It's hard to find advice on something like this as the best cure lies in who you are. I mean my best pick-me-up is venting into composing a good song or if things are exceptionally bad a long stiff drink and a walk.
Try doing something to really get it all out, i find spontaneous decisions excite me so much i stop caring about being depressed, 'tis why i love them so. :D

I listen to songs that have always made me happy or just hit something until it either breaks or my hand hurts too much to do it anymore.

I smoke. I don't encourage that.

Failing that, I'll write a collective stream of consciousness, while listening to some ambient music, or orchestrations. Something to relax me.

I tend to reflect a lot. I know in the short term, chances are it makes you feel worse, but you'll feel better in the long run.

Even better, play air guitar. Works a treat.

Don't really have a problem with depression, but anger....

Jumping on the PC and playing a FPS always helps me out. Or a steady stream of swearing under my breath. I like to think of the stream as like a pressure cooker and the steam vent. If the steam doesn't vent, the cooker blows up in a big way.
