Childish People

Have any of u lot met really childish ppl becaz I just have becaz at the mo Im in college and I was just walking down the hall to my class and this stupid silly girl just run up to me and slapped a chocolate spread sandwich into my face and now what the point of that becaz as fair as Im concerned its really pathetic and then she done it again but this time I turned around to walk after her and she ran off like a little girl, have any of u lot had similar experiences let me know ur views on this event.

Well, I, for one, can't stand an immature and childish person. If the person is old enough to act like they have some common sense, then they should do so. I mean, yes, it's fun to act childish every once in a while, but dang, she should not have done that for no reason at all.

Unfortunately you'll come across many childish people. Far too many. Those who don't know how to divide fun & maturity. Really the only way to deal with them is outsmarting them, which isn't too difficult. Everyone's got a right to be themselves, so unless you confront them just leave them to it. Their immaturity is their problem, not yours. It can be difficult & irritating to deal with, but, being childish as they are, they'll soon ignore you if you don't give them any attention.

Argh, immature and childish people = Major pain in the ass! :s :yuck: -_-
They can be so extremely annoying, and they`re everywhere.
I was in a similar event as the one you mentioned once... many similar events. -_-
Those kinds of people are just not worth caring about.
They`re usually so dumb they think everyone loves them for their immaturity.
I`d try to just ignore those people, no matter how annoyed they get you.
You getting annoyed is what they want, you know, so don`t give it to them.
They`ll get bored eventually.

Or as BtG said, you can outsmart them, which is easy and kind of fun! ;)
For example, this one time, some guy I had never even talked to before came over and told me I owed him 10$. (He didn`t ask if he could borrow them, he said I owed them to him)
I ignored him at first, but he kept bugging me for weeks.
So I got tired of it, and told him I`d give him the money February 30th.
So he walked around looking forward to the day when I`d give him 10$.
There`s just one thing he never realised; There`s no Febuary 30th! :devil:
Hehe, he doesn`t bother me much anymore.

I don`t know which of those two ways is the most 'effective' way of dealing with immature people, they`ve both worked for me a few times.

yeah I know that but what happens tho if I kick there ass lol I had to put up with childish ppl tho out my life but I thought it would of stopped in college tho becaz Im not in school any more but I guess I was wrong again.

Ugh, I can't stand people that don't know how to act their age. I mean, it can be fun to just be weird and hyper like a child sometimes, but when it comes to treating others in such a manner, it's another story. Several times at school I'll be walking to my locker or something and a guy with his buddies will just ask a stupid question or something just to be cute in front of his friends. I'll either give a smart-ass reply or just ignore them. It really annoys me.

Yeah, everybody comes accross childisch people in there lives... Pity they exist i must say.

The only way to deal with these people is to outsmart them verbally or ignore them completely. Rolling your eyes and purposely not looking bothered is not ignoring them. They get a kick out of that. Ignoring them is acting as if they're not there at all. Looking through them instead of at them. Talking over them, not to them. It gets very irritating. You could either do that or win verbal contests with her. But only get into them if you're sure you can win. The jokes of childish people are practically always completely illogical. Putting them in cold logic will make them look utterly stupid. Off the top of my head, if someone called me chocolate face I'd run my fingers down my cheek, look at them, blink a couple of times and say "Yep, lot of chocolate there. You're really observant you know". But I'm sure I could come up with something better if I thought about it more.

It's a real shame that some people act like this. But they're not worth worrying about. Try to calm down and not get so stressed about the situation :) She's not someone you need to bother about. Don't waste time thinking about her.

Thank u very much for that beatrix Im actually thinking about thingsto say now lol. and I will not hit her ok beatrix just 4 u lol, but the thing is tho Im not very good at coming back with verbal comments tho sometimes I have my good days where everyone ends up shutting up becza they can't handle me and then I go quiet and can't think of anything to say its annoying. but anyway thanks for the advise everyone.

But seriously...I cant stand immature people..I've dealt with thousands of people due to past work and Trust me...some people should be locked in a box and sent to Jupiter (ok tha wasent origonal).

I deal with childish people everyday. Outwitting them is the key, however, taking it too far can and will just put you in a lower position... Say for instance, you want to get back at them equally, just in a verbal node, saying distasteful things would just put you below them, making you a worst person than they were, even if it is just words. We all know that words hurt, and if you say they don't...try never to get in a serious argument with me, because I can make you hate your life, try to take what they say, and twist it around and turn it against them. Or, become overly sarcastic with them, using the sarcasm as a weapon against them. >_> It works, they get annoyed and will most times leave you alone. >_> Oh well, just a thought....don't mind my nonsense ramblings.

Heh, I have alot of fun with people like that. One of my favorite things to do is when they say something or do something stupid, walk up and hold out your hand to shake theirs. Then say, "I am really impressed, you sir (ma'am) are the biggest idiot I have met today, and that's saying alot. Hey you might even make top 10!" Most of them will walk away to cry, hehe or so I assume. Or ask them if they want a piece of gum, and just walk away.
