Kenshin I love, for two reasons. Reason 1. I love how it's such a balanced anime. It's got a perfect balance of Comedy, Action, Drama, Romance, and the sort. Plus, the characterization, IMO is excellent! Reason 2. "It's Aoshi..... Shinomori!! XD !! I love my Aoshi- sama ^_^

Eva I love because despite the fact man kind isn't under attack by some mysterious force known as "Angels", the show is actually quite relative to reality. All the trials, and tribulations that Shinji, Asuka, and even Rei face together, or even when they're on their own, it can all relate to what most kids their age go through. Though it did sorta bug me how every ounce of humor was drained from it towards the end of the series. Then it started to get... weird o_O I'm not even gonna get into the movies o_O;;

Outlaw Star is another one I love because of it's relative nature. Gene Starwind, Jim Hawking, and Melfina, in particular, are the ones I've noticed that have realistic personalities (Aysha I believe was mostly thrown in there for comic relief). Plus it's a futuristic outer space type anime! You don't see too many of those anymore! The Outlaw Star is one badass ship! ^_^

Digi Tamers was too cool by the fact that when Digimon started into season 3, they completely changed the laws of logic they had been going by, and set the show on more realistic terms; making it feel like it could actually happen! I'm sure it picked up the hopes of any digimon fan who actually created their own digimon once apon a time, hehehe. Well, y'know, those who aren't quite so down to earth all the time... namely myself LOL. Okay, so I knew it could never happen, I just thought it was cool how they made it feel like it could. 5 other reasons I liked it so much: Renamon, Culumon, Cyberdramon, Monodramon! (who only made a short 5 minute appearance ;_; ), and Baihumon! ^_^
Oh yeah, and Ryo ^_^ Ryo and Monodramon kick ass! (I still think Cyberdramon should stay as kawaii lil' Monodramon... )

3. Action (Digimon bio-merges with Tamer, Mega level Digimon fights a huge beast named the D-Reaper who almost engulfs the whole area with its body. o_O)

Serial Experiments Lain
Very interesting anime. Great art, too. Computer themed... Kind of hard to understand if you just jump right into the middle like I did, but it's complex and has a great story.
Way too sad, though... Watching it is pretty depressing. Even the end, which has a shred of happiness in it was enough to make me cry. *sniffle* A great series, if a little short for my tastes.


And now for something completely different....
Card Captor Sakura
First one I ever saw. o_O I swear, I cannot live without pulling out a few eps and watching them a few times a week... ^_^ Very happy, cute, funny and spunky! Has some great action for something so girly, and a GREAT story. Plus, the boys are so cuuuuute.... :cute: It's a far cry from the American version that they had on TV for a while... MUCH better. Nothing is left out. This gets about 50 million thumbs up from me. :D *Starts killing people to steal thumbs from*

Those are the only ones I've seen any substantial amounts from... I saw Lain in various places, and caught some on TechTv's Anime Unleashed a few weeks back. I own a burned copy of CCS sent to me by a friend, but the format varies from disc to disc, and requires a ton of stuff... ;_; At one point, the sound cuts out completely. Nuuuu.... Miss... Cute... Voices... *cries*

I've seen a tiny portion of Love Hina, as well as reading a good portio of the manga and I LOOOOVE what I've seen so far! :laugh: It's so hilarious, yet it makes you go "awwww..." too... If i can scrape up some cash, I have to buy this.

...And I will say that I really liked the 3 seasons of Digimon that was on Tv here... :roll: Had more depth than any anime to come over on TV, that I've ever seen... I really doubt the age bracket the show was intended for actually understood nine tenths of the material, but... I sure loved it, as embarassed as I am to say so. Hee-heeeeeeee.....

Azumanga Daioh - possible the funniest anime out there right now =p
Gits: Stand Alone Complex - it's pretty interesting
Spiral - I just love the name The Blade Childern, of course when they pronouce it it sort of sounds like "THE Buladyuo Childurn"
Naruto - My god such a great ninja anime. Kakashi is the best.
Furi Kuri a.k.a FLCL - It's tied for my favourite anime out there. Also has one of the best Soundtracks EVER. The Pillows are pretty damn good.
Cowboy Bebop - tied for favourite anime (this one got me to watch anime). Yoko Kanno is just great, she makes some of the best music out there.
Kiddy Grade - it's a decent anime, does have abit of fan service in it.
.hack//sign - I liked the story in it, little slow, but great soundtrack.
.hack// LoTB - pretty good, a lot more action, but the sister brother thing kind of scares me.
Get Backers - great action anime.
Macross Zero + Plus - both great, I can't wait for the new episode for Macross Zero.
Wolf's Rain - I have a feeling this one is gonna be great, it's only has 6 episodes out but they are all great. I love the story to it so far. Yoko Kanno also does the music, so you can't go wrong there.
Mouse - lol, it's alright but it goes overboard with the Ecchi.
Now and Then Here and There - I've only seen 2 episodes but there were quite good.
Galaxy Angels II-III - I almost forgot this show! The humour in it is pretty damn good!
Witch Hunter Robin - My god as if I forgot about this one. It's just fantastic. Music is good, animation is great, just everything about this show is great. If you liked Buffy, this is like the Buffy of anime.

There are a lot more, but they just aren't coming to my mind right now.

I love anime. The very first anime I saw was Sailor Moon. It was during 1994 that USA (the channel, not the country) had Sailor Moon on every morning at 8:00. I never missed an episode. Now, several years later, my love for anime has grown stronger. While I don't go around looking up the stories for any anime I can find or buy a mag just to get the "inside scoop"( sorry, no fanatic stuff for me) I have a passion for anime that is second only to my love for gaming.-_-
Anyway, two of my favorite animes are Cowboy Bebop and Sailor Moon. I love SM's story and CB's jazzy ambiance. Both make me smile:)

Actually, Sailor Moon got me hooked on anime as well. I was bored as hell after school one day, and it was all that was on, so I decided to watch it despite its reputation. It was the begining of the heart snatcher plotline, and I kept watching day after day to see where it went. The plot twist that dragged me in and kept me watching was the entrance and significance of Hotaru Tomoe. I won't put any spoilers in, but needless to say she still remains one of my favorite characters, especially after what happened in Stars.

I like Yugioh because Its fun to watch.I just started watching it two months ago and now,I dont want to miss an episode!I love the characters especially, and I think the Anime is translated very well.some Anime I know is like...all around the place and sometimes I dont understand.I love watching the duels and seeing lots of different duel monsters.

Also Inuyasha because I just love the Characters :cute: I love the music and the storyline too ^_^ Miroku always cracks me up XD he ish funny!
