Someone on FFXI is banging on about Chelsea winning something that I'm assuming from their tone was... important?
Also that sucks DT. People say that "they're just Fish" but it's stiill horrible to deal with. I haven't kept Fish in about seven years or so when our oldest fish gave up. He'd successfully bullied all the others out before that. Have a couple of kittens now... so it probably wouldn't be a great idea. |
Well, survived my first day as an engineering intern... more or less.

Eurovisioooooon!

Fear the Humperdinck, W.

I think the world should fear some little old ladies from Russia. :3

The less said about the Irish entry the better... -_-

Tomorrow, I'm going to a convention (my parents are taking me, of course) to go to a concert by my favorite Japanese singer. The ride's going to take like 10~12 hours. :yuck: We'll be stopping to rest for the night at some point, then continue on Saturday morning. (the concert's on Saturday) It'll be my first time going to a concert. I'm really excited about it~ :)

Wow, enjoy yourself then Yami and let us know how it is.

Fabbo day at work today. I guess the sunshine brings out the best in everyone. :)
I just wish every day was like this... On the doorstep with a cuppa, random tunes on the iPod. :D Love it! |

Moar liek Daily Fail, amirite? :P
P.S. Those crazy Japanese... O_o EDIIIIIITTTT: Just got in from a spur of the moment night out with some peeps from work. I have to be up for work in <6 hours and I can't sleep. :s I have a 9 hour shift ahead of me and I'm not looking forward to it. 2ND EDIIIIIIITTTT: Just found out my crush at work has a girlfriend. I am not nearly as crushed or jealous as I thought I might be. But if she hurts him... |
At a hotel now, after going to the concert earlier. It was awesome. It was hard to hear the singer though, the music through the speakers was so loud. >_< I knew all the songs, sang along at times, waving the glow stick (that I got) a lot. I got exhausted from doing that though (it was quite a bit of exercise for me, apparently.) and it was really hot in the room.
Afterwards, some merchandise was being sold. Two CDs, some shirts, paper fans, and chopsticks (odd choice). I only had enough money to get a CD. I was actually able to get the CD signed by the singer. I got so nervous when it was my turn that I made a stupid mistake of putting down two items (the CD and my badge) to get signed when only one item was allowed (the badge never got signed, I don't care. I shouldn't of put it down in the first place..). >_< I was able to get the CD signed. :) I really enjoyed it. My hearing is okay too. :P |
Sounds like fun, Yami. :) A lot more fun than my weekend anyhow (work, work, work...) The last gig I went to 3 years ago was marred by the fact I'd just been made redundant, and the ex moaning all the way through it.
Anyways, glad you had a good time. :) |
Speaking of concerts, I went to Sugarland last night with a few friends. I hadn't heard much of their music before, but damn does their singer have a voice. It's not often you hear a voice that's stronger in-person than on the album, but she did it.
