Nice! One of my best friends lives in AZ and he's a Dbacks fan. He tells me Mets and Dbacks are exact opposite. Mets have pitching, but struggle with hitting while the Dbacks have hitting, but struggle with pitching.

Yay!! Go Dbacks! Well unfortunately the Dodgers added on a run so the score is 3-1! :( So far all the runs this game are by HRs (Matsui, Beltre and Roberts).

Ah. I thought he blew one at the end of the season. In any case, your freind is sort of right. We have our moments of extreme hitting power, then we seem to dry up and don't score at all. And yeah, with the loss of Curt Shilling, adn prractically every other member of our team last year, we're pretty bad. All we have left is Randy Johnson (which nobody would trade for anyhow), Luis Gonzales because we can't be the D-Backs without him, Steve Finely, Tony Bautista, Mike Kata, who only played for a couple of games last year, and maybe Koplove. I think we've got a few other pitchers lying around, and maybe a catcher that were on the team last year.

EDIT 2-3 In the bottom of the 8th. We're losing, of course :P

Well if you count the All-Star game, Gagne did blow 1 save.

As for Sexston Veev, he got hit with a ptich in the hand or something and broke it. That's all I can figure from the movie clip of it, despite the fact that the catcher still caught the ball. Man, and we had the game tied up too. Stupid closer. He's given up something like 8 home runs in 5 innings pitched. And that's wehat we lost against.

On a brighter note, Steve Finley hit 3 consecutive home runs scoring all of the points we earned in the entire game. Wooo.

We got 2 hits off of Gagne today in the 9th! (Well since it was 1 AM, that's today). Damn Bradley! You're not supposed to rob Cameron! We lost 3-2. :(
