It's too early to be up, but I can't sleep.

Having a cold sucks.

Jon Apr 7, 2005 08:29 AM

you could have the flu, which would be even worse than a cold. That's always a way to look at things, there's always someone else worse off. Keeps me upbeat =P

Shned Apr 7, 2005 08:35 AM

True. I know there'll always be someone far worse off than me. It works.

It's a new record. I learnt Dakota on drums in less than five minutes. It's such a simple beat :o

Adam Apr 7, 2005 08:44 AM

Yes, always someone worse off than you, I'm at School!! In IT!!!

Shned Apr 7, 2005 08:49 AM

I'm at home, with a blocked nose, trying to sing.

I wonder who's suffering more.

Jon Apr 7, 2005 08:49 AM

IT is gay.

Shned Apr 7, 2005 08:54 AM

It is. But when you've got a teacher that tells you to get on with your work, and two seconds later is having a ten-minute conversation with you about Motorhead, you know you're destined to fail.

It happens.

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 09:40 AM

My IT teacher is great. Probably the best teacher in my school.

For obvious reasons, really.

Tallulah Apr 7, 2005 09:42 AM

The IT and Media people are the best people here. Better than the dull old Law git, Orange.

Mysterious Being Apr 7, 2005 12:15 PM

The highlight of my day was being hit in the eye with a paper plane :P Yes, I'm serious. This is after my Electrical Engineering Lecturer (Mr Scott Ayton - or S.Ayton as we like to call him :D :D :D) said "Stop throwing them. It's theoretically possible that someone could get hit in the eye."

meh.... I'm weird :P

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 12:33 PM

Well, wear glasses then. :P

Mysterious Being Apr 7, 2005 12:43 PM

I do wear glasses... just not all the time. And it was inbetwen lectures, not during one, so I had no reasons to put them on :P

Shned Apr 7, 2005 01:04 PM

Wow. The only benefit to having this cold is it gives me more enhanced Kurt Cobain-style vocals. Anything else just sounds dire.

Adam Apr 7, 2005 01:29 PM

Haha unlucky MB :P

Shned: Really? wow I better try that then :P

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 01:37 PM

Oh excellent, exactly 20 people joined my tourney!

Hurrah!

Mysterious Being Apr 7, 2005 01:38 PM

I thought so. I was laughing because of the inprobability of the thing. I mean, there were more than 200 people in the lecture theatre at the time, and the chances of a plane hitting anyones eye would have to be pretty slim again. :D

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 01:44 PM

not really, there are 200 pairs of eyes (including the thrower himself :P), and if you divide by the ratio of the body exposed to the environment, the chances are quite high.

Oh, and paper airplanes do have a tendency of hitting eyes, mind you. :P

Mysterious Being Apr 7, 2005 01:48 PM

I'm... not convinced. You also have to consider that I had just turned around and found it in my face. The chances of me not seeing it (ie, not looking in that direction) and then just turning around at the right moment are pretty slim. And when you take into account that that would be virtually the only scenerio that anyone could get hit in the eye - you have to say that the chances are pretty small :P

Adam Apr 7, 2005 01:50 PM

Ok , there is way too much probabilty in those posts

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 01:52 PM

;_;, I'm not persuasive.

In other news tonight, my Defend the Castle points have soared up to 40 million points, hurrah!

Adam Apr 7, 2005 01:57 PM

I can't do that game, It takes too long

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 02:12 PM

Adam. Seriously.

REMATCH.

Adam Apr 7, 2005 02:15 PM

Sorry man, Not at the moment I got some work to do I'll play you in a bit

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 02:16 PM

thank you, just find me in TT.

Adam Apr 7, 2005 02:18 PM

Haha No problem I always enjoy are games and you deserve a rematch if a wrong move lost the game

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 03:26 PM

Baaah.

Lost again. ;_;

Adam Apr 7, 2005 03:32 PM

Hey, everyone loses you just have to pick yourself back up!

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 03:36 PM

Yeah. But still, it's hard to sink in. :P

Adam Apr 7, 2005 03:38 PM

Haha, Ok then BM, How many losses do you actually have BM?

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 03:42 PM

30. ;_;

Can someone please tell me how to get past that patch of low clouds on level 9 in City Jumper ;_;

Shned Apr 7, 2005 03:48 PM

Jump at the right time. It's the same answer to any question regarding the game.

My cold has started to clear. I can sing normally again.

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 04:20 PM

I know, I know. Well it would seem the most obvious answer isn't it.

I just thought that perhaps someone can take the explanation a step further down the line.

FF Freek Apr 7, 2005 04:34 PM

Can anyone tell me how to get past the cloud in level 29 in city jumper?

Nipissing Apr 7, 2005 04:41 PM

I don't think anyone's able to pass 29 yet, apparently.

Why don't you help me pass level 9 first.

Jon Apr 7, 2005 04:44 PM

Kily beard :o
