Did you know that if you rub the fur on Ziddy's tail, you'll get enough electrical charge to run a small city??! Hehehe, okay, just kidding, maybe not.

... or can you? I've never tried.

Anyway... what I'm talking about is Zidane power!! In battle, he comes with a set of Thief's Skills. I've found that in my gameplay, because he's the character you're pretty much stuck with, it's worth it to train him up and develop his full set of skills. Plus they become the almighty DYNES!! WOOHOO!! GRAND LETHAL POWER, BAY-BEE!

Which of Zidane's thief skills do you like to use? Do you use them at all, or do you use Zid's other commands? (Multiple choices allowed on this poll.)

The two skills I can absolutely not live without are Soul Blade and THIEVERY!! If there's anything I love as much as Bahamut and Dragon Crest, it's Thievery!! Mwahahahahaa! The fact that it gets tranced into the Grand Lethal dyne is just an aded bonus. Soul Blade is just my way of messing with the enemmies. Heehee, "No good status for you!" *blind*

I guess the down side of Thievery is that it takes some time to get up to Quad-9 HP damage. But once it's there, WOOHOO! For 8 MP, that puppy is really worth it!

So give the little furry-tailed Genome a pack of Skittles, a can of Mountain Dew, hand him an Ultima Weapon, charge up his Thievery, and LOOK OUT!! MWAHAHAHAAA!!!

... and I think I've drunk waaaay too much soda today, yesno?? Heeee.

I hardly use any of them!!
I use his Trance skills most but not his normal abilities....but..but I use Thivery!Muahahahahahahaha!!!!
I use him as a physical attacker!!even though it does a tonnes of damage!I use thievery when I only have to!! ( eh? )

I use Sacrifice when their Hps are bad..
then Life / Pheonix down. after that I use Elixirs.
( just nowadays. )

it's sooo wierd... throught the whole game I don't use Elixirs.
EVER. 'cuz whenever I'm in Disc 1 - 3 I'd say to myself,
"NO! I'm reserving them for the final boss!"

then when I get to Necron I start to panic and
give them orders & stuff, so what happens is the Elixirs
are forgotten & gets wasted..

I dont really use his Thief Skills that much. I use his attack powa . But When I do use his Skills, I use Flee alot durning the beginning,Detect, and Lucky Seven. I dont really use Thievery that much...I have only used it like 2 or 3 times o.o..

Mostly what I use is FLEE.

Yeah, in the beginning, when meeting WAY too DIFFICULT monsters, it's Flee Galore.

And in Memoria too!!! Flee is PARTICULARLY useful then. I'd rather have two Mistodons than an Ash any day

I seldom use Thievery. Barely. Until I want to find out how much his Thievery does. When I used Thievery the first time in another game(which I overwrote due to lack of Gyhsal Greens and no Clear Headed for Zidane and Amarant ),IT ONLY DID 600 OR-SOMETHING DAMGAGE!!

I barely use things like Sacrifice. I think it's dumb, because you have to wake Zidane up....

Detect. Nay... Lucky Seven... Nay.

I'd stick with FLEE!!

Sorry to disappoint everyone!! But my answer will be a bit negative.

Actually, not really. I only use Soul Blade on those really tough enemies. As for Theivery.... heh, I'm still working on it. Most of the time I take him along just because his physical attack alone does a lot of damage. And I love his Dyne abilities!!! Although they do take up a lot of MP.

Do you really want to hear about my latest battle against Necron? I brought Ziddy just because he's my fav. character. But I left his time-bar full for the whole round and didn't bother to revive him when he fell. I ended up winning the battle with two chracters: Freya with Dragon Crest each round, and Dags with Curaga.

I'd commonly use Soul Blade and Thievery. Soul Blade has incredible uses, and we alll know the magic of Thievery. Then of course, being a physical attacker, you can dish out a hell of a lot of damage for nothing (unless you have MP Attack switched on). But let's face it, when he gets into trance, NOTHING STANDS IN ZIDDY'S WAY!!!!!! YAY FOR GRAND LEATHAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Early on I tend to use the occasional flee but near the middle of the game I use Soul Blade the most. Nothing else isn't needed much if at all. Usually he's just a physical attacker.

Later on (and I mean much later) theivery is built up enough to use to it's full power and that's exactly what happens. An just to be cute and show Zid as the hero I throw in the occasional sacrifice when necessary.

In my current replay game, Zidane's almost level 50, and Thievery hits for a little less than 8000. [Edit: NEVERMIND! I did it again just now and it hit for 8100! Bwahahaha! MOST awesome skill!] You better believe I use it. XD My last game I didn't use it at all, because I stole very little -- but this game I've been stealing like crazy the whole time!
I forgot to vote for Flee, but I voted for Detect too. Those're the only ones I really use. Flee I only use in Memoria when I don't feel like fighting and am just trying to get somewhere (at that point, I never really needed to level up anyway.. it was just annoying). Detect I used a couple of times out of curiosity. *^^*
I didn't vote for it (too bad I can't redo it o.o) but I did use What's That?! once, to see what it did, and I was insanely amused when the skeleton guy turned around. But it didn't seem to last very long, so I've never used it again.
I've actually never tried Annoy, or Sacrifice.. and the one time I tried Lucky Seven and Soul Blade, they didn't seem to work right so I don't bother with them very often. ;
