Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds Concert

7 hours ago, I sat myself down in the Stockholm Concert Hall and watched an orchestra perform music from the Final Fantasy games. Was anyone else there, or is anyone planning on going to the show in the other cities they're touring? Or would you even consider going to something like this at all? Most people I know just think it's geeky

I swear to god though, I had goosebumps all over, the whole time. The visuals combined with the music was really powerful, I never thought orchestrated music could have that kind of effect on me

Apparently it was the world premiere, pretty exciting to be a part of. I got to meet Nobuo Uematsu and Arnie Roth, shake hands and get autographs

Oooh Arnie was the conductor? He's very good; he led the orchestra at More Friends like two years ago. <3

Hopefully they stop by LA soon

But yeah I'm glad you enjoyed it Carro! It's an incredible experience when the music's on full blast at its greatest and you're with a hundred other people who have the same love for it as you do.

Sadly, they never come anywhere near Alabama. Just one of the things that sucks about living here. Nashville, Atlanta, Even somewhere in Louisiana... if they'd just come within two states I'd be there... geeky or no.

I guess I'll just have to keep hoping.

They'll be in Chicago on my birthday, and have no other confirmed dates. Lame. :/

I'd love to see a show like that.

I hope they go to South America. As the only FF Fan from Peru, I really want to meet Nobby in person. And I watched the One Winged Angel Orchestrated concert on Youtube. If only they consider going to Peru, I then can die happy.

I am nearly exploding to make a rant about my trip to the concert. Seriously, I have a huge amount of detailed information about everything regarding my whole trip there, the waiting in the concert hall, the concert itself, the Meet & Greet with Nobuo and Arnie and my.... *has to reveal a bit so he doesn't explode* my long talk with his manager ><><.

Why can't I share it all? Well, let's just say someone I love very deeply would feel a bit better if I wait some time before I start revealing it to the world (2 forums, ha ha) but I'm just waiting for the green light! So difficult it is to hold back

Just one thing... Wish I knew who you were at the concert, Carro xD. Where are you from?
