We want your suggestions. We want you guys to actively help us rebuild this board a bit.
These sites are part of some sort of weird phoenomenon. Across these years we've been lucky. We've got some great content already online and that, coupled with news postings on
UFFSite means that the actual
website part of UFF is actually around the same size it's always been.
RPGSite's even luckier. It recieves review copies of games weeks in advance of release, and because of that we've been able to get some real scoops. We were
the second review of Fable II online, beaten only by Eurogamer. We were the first English review of
The Last Remnant for PC. We also
reported that the FF4 remake was heading West 4 months before it was announced thanks to insider info from friends at Square.
Long story short, RPGSite's hits are way up. So across the two sites the actual sites are overall actually doing better than before. Yet... the forums are far quieter.
I think part of this is the fact that many of us have new responsibilities and have moved on, of course. But what we have to do is endeavor to draw more people in, be it in persuading our old buddies to rejoin us or new people to come along.
So, what things do you think could help spur activity and bring people to the boards? What would you like to see personally? What would make you post more? Site changes or board changes, we want to hear them and we will implement them.
