It's cold in hell today...

Like, really cold

(For those of you that don't know, Duke Nukem Forever has been in development since 1997 and the last teaser trailer is from six years ago apparently.)

They....

Did they....

They're really finishing it this time?!!

I thought they were still making the wall textures, and in the next 10 years, they were going to finish the ceiling textures....

OMG! This deserves the biggest Jaw Dropping ever!:

That's not me, by the way.

Dude that's what I was saying :\ 10 years in the making and that's the best they can come up with?

Still though, at least it's moving along. Though admittedly I didn't even know it was in the making so.. XD Sadly I can't rejoice in the same fashion you guys can.

Can't wait to try it out thoough (when it does). Time to Kill was loads of fun.

Heh, that's a low polygon modeling trick when you texture to make things look detailed even though they're not. It looks alright but as Ridley said, its behind the times.

Update:

Quote:
Garland-based video games developer 3D Realms has said Duke Nukem Forever, the highly anticipated sequel to its revolutionary 1996 PC game Duke Nukem 3D, is projected to be completed in late 2008, with versions likely for Microsoft's Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 3 home video game consoles and personal computers.
Also, Duke Nukem 3D coming to XBLA! =D

I think they already said that info was false, that it's still set for "when it's done". Any announcement otherwise isn't trustworthy.

Duke Nukem 3D for XBLA is pretty good, though.

I still liked the classic Duke Nukem 64, from way back in the day. That is STILL the best one, IMO.

DN64? I didn't liked very much, not because the gameplay (excellent) , instead, the levels were so dark at times, and you got lost and stuck easily. This was augmented worse in 4 players mode, with the tiny screen split.

Dark was easy to live with, I just change the color-mode on my television set to make it brighter. The small-screen split on 4 players was a bit of a pain, but it made the game fun to be able to play four players like that. Of course, I had a medium sized (24 inch) screen back then, so the split didn't bother me as much.

Well, you see DP, in a 4 player match, if one get stuck, the other one get stuck... it takes all 4 of us 2 hours to exit a single room.

Or maybe it's that we are dumb. I dont know
