In general the gym and or working out always helps get stress out of your system.

Case in point, I am sore as hell from teaching my little cousins martial arts but a good sore. They love it and have picked it up eerily fast...like creepily fast. One of my younger female cousins learned a defense and feedback move from Filipino Kali in half an hour of watching and practicing with me. I have taught adults that have taken weeks to do this right.

The women of my tribe also enjoy it immensely at the local Women's Crises center(and they should being one of the most abused groups of women in the entire United States). I am helping teach anti-rape defense and whatnot. A few of them really like it and hope they use it. I swear the men on my reservation have become dogs. Speaking of which, most of the guys act like what I do is Kung Fu Magic and want nothing to do with it. Hell, most of them think what I teach will never work half the time in a real fight and yet for demonstration purposes the moment I have them attack me for real I put 9/10 of them down in seconds. I love that they continue to doubt even if I work them over first hand or they see me destroy other guys.

Anyways, my classes are coming along nicely. I have straight As and I can speak a decent amount of Lakota now.

So, I got a summer internship. $800/week pretax, housing included. Looks like I'll be designing spacecraft anti-vibration parts and doing some engine testing. Feels nice to finally have those years of uni pay off, haha.

That is pretty sweet for an internship; well done, P.

Feel a bit better now, though because of work I won't be able to see the boy until at least Monday. I was so depressed when I realised this I played Assassin's Creed for 4 hours straight; seems to be one of the few things that cheers me up of late..

So, the album that I had mentioned pre-ordering a while back, I got it recently. It's pretty good. I like 11 of the 12 songs on it.

I also got Radiant Historia from Amazon. Been enjoying playing it quite a bit. Story's interesting (so are the characters), the music is great (not something I say often about music in games) and the battle system is not that hard to get used to. Different, but it works. Pushing enemies around and into each other to deal more damage to them.

Just wondering, Royston: How come you got to be member number 1?

Also, hi. I also remember you, but I was never active on the IRC channel, so...

Work can go to f***ing hell as far as I'm concerned! I do four extra hours, and am covering a shift today so I'm going to be there for five hours when I don't need to be, and how do they repay me?! They give me SIX f***ing shifts in a row, which means I'm working eight days in a row without a break. I know it's the Easter holidays (which more often than not, the little brats haven't earned and don't deserve!) but this is taking advantage of my eager - to-help nature and vulnerable financial position.. Also, being away from the boy is tearing me apart inside. I don't know how long I can take this.

Obviously the work-life balance is a myth. But who on Earth working at McDonald's has a life?! F**K MCDONALDS AND EVERYTHING IT STANDS FOR!

I apologise. Rant over.

Lol, tempted. I applied for a new job yesterday, even though this was before I found out about my disgusting shift pattern. Seriously, I want out of there. Could care less about being a staff trainer, I just want a little respect and recognition.

Also, how am I going to find time to get the Easter eggs to my friends' kids? FML.

Aaaand, I never have to play FF VII again. The two American Monsters are dead. Sephiroth was slapped around with some Omnislash, everyone has their final weapons and Limit Breaks, I have every Materia Mastered, and every Turtle Paradise flyer is in my possession.

I am done. FINALLY. Good lord, I do not like the Materia system.

Now on to better and brighter things like FF VIII and IX and in a couple days FF I & II.

I love the PSN for these classics.

I wouldn't bother with 2 - it's really not worth it Sean.

I know but I think it comes bundled with the Origins on the PSN...or does it?

If I don't have to buy Final Fantasy II I totally won't. I experienced that bullshit once before and I don't want my poor brother to experience that garbage.

I got the PS1 versions of FFV and FFVI on my PSP today. I already know of both games having not so great translations and FFVI having slowdowns in the battle transitions and menus. I didn't know FFV was glitchy in the menus, especially the Save Menu.

Why I didn't get the GBA versions: The prices on Amazon are really ridiculous. Way too much.

Just going to have to put up with the problems on the PS1 versions.
