To make you feel better T, it's 7:40am and -2C. Guess I'll have to melt the ice on the windshield today.

Ice in Australia? Despite the fact it's winter there, I grew up watching soaps like Home and Away where the sun always shines and everyone goes surfing every day. So the concept of winter there is alien to me.
Though it stands to reason that at least Southern Australia and New Zealand's South island would have the same climate as the UK; it only makes sense after all...

Yes, we do have ice. It gets cold enough to snow here, but we don't have the elevation for it. Supposed to be around -5C tonight though again. Good thing I've got my little oil heater with the timer.

Really now? Really?
Not sure if excited or just embarrassed...
Seriously, it has the the potential to be amazing, like a Matrix with brains meets a Medieval James Bond/15th century Godfather, but after such films as Super Mario Brothers, Tomb Raider (the second one especially...) Alone in the Dark and (as the article states) Prince of Persia, I am not filled with confidence...

There really isn't a good videogame movie. They really haven't ever got it quite right. The supposedly upcoming HALO movie that keeps bandying around will probably suffer the same fate too.

Silent Hill is probably the best video game movie and even that is fatally flawed. The atmosphere is good though at least...
The upcoming sequel looks like it might be okay, I'm looking forward to it.

I think the Halo movie will suffer from too much Hollywood.
I'm actually really excited for the AC movie though. It's being internally developed at Ubisoft, so it won't be excessively adapted by directors who have no idea about the game. Also, it will be produced by people who love and understand the story.

You're wrong. House of the dead. Yes, I'm serious. Uwe Boll is a mad genius and that movie was so perfectly rancid it was good.

I accidentally Postal and wanted to saw off my own head afterwards.
Speaking of films, it was hard to get out of the cinema yesterday because there were so many middle-aged women swarming for Magic Mike o.o

Oh, you think that's bad? Wait until the Fifty Shades movie comes out...

^ Yeah I saw that on the cinema listing. I did a double take as I thought it was the first one. As if that one was bad enough!
Alien vs. Predator is still the worst movie I've ever seen. And I've seen The Room, in all its uncensored glory. *shudders*
