Not in the US! Here's it's (American) football and basketball, followed by baseball and hockey. We are clearly points-oriented people.

And yeah, as an Arizonan the Dbacks are one of our several sucky teams that tend to just almost do good for a season or two, and then suck again for another decade or so. At least the Dbacks won the world series... once. The Cardinals got to the super bowl, and then proceeded to suck again. And the Sun Devils football team just sucks all the time.

I do like soccer though, and I'm looking forward to the world cup next year, mostly so I can root against my british/italian coworker and laugh when she loses. She bet against Spain in the Euro cup last year, much to my amusement.

I have been trying to keep up with at least the Premier League in ye old Britannia and it has been entertaining so far(this season I chose to support Arsenal. I don't know if that makes me a bad guy or not but they played well enough to keep this injun interested. )

I try not to pick a team to root for and just enjoy the games normally but, my uncle chose QPR at the beginning of the season and I chose Arsenal. Alas, my uncle just has the worst luck picking teams to root for in the Premier League(every team he has tried supporting in the last handful of years has been relegated).

Work was pretty epic today, despite having to get up at stupid o'clock once more. To be totally honest, I'm getting used to it. Everyone, staff and customers, were in pretty high spirits, and at the end of the day, I ordered some food (I'm kinda regretting it now, as I have a massive stomach ache...). I got nine nuggets) (but for some reason there was actually ten in the box, though I kept quiet until I had finished them, small fries, an iced coffee thingy, and what I thought was a toffee muffin, but turned out to be blueberry! They're all good, so I ate it regardless. I jokingly complained to Yasmin as I left, and she was really apologetic, and actually went to the trouble of getting me a fresh toffee muffin, even though I had eaten the blueberry one! It was still in its wrapper, so I took it home with me. It did get a bit crushed by my milk (I bought some on the way home as I ran out) but never mind.

Sigh, I really must get my old desktop fixed (the hard drive is fried) so I can sort out my iTunes. There's a LOT of music on my iPod I want to delete, and I want to download some better songs, including some of Tobuscus' stuff. God, I could use a laugh when walking to work at four in the morning, particularly later in the year...

Hey but by then I will be driving. I keep forgetting that.
