I was thinking the exact same thing as you Roger. But I think you should be able to buy the rare cards, the prices should just be really extreme, like 30 000 Gil or more for a Kefka card. Still the your card and the like shouldn't be able to be purchased Silver Wolf, I think.
Also I was wondering if you could put the Card bank up somewhere, you know a list with all the cards there are.
And (this maybe be very difficult so if it is just forget about it) maybe adding a chat box to the game window, so you can talk to whoever it is you're playing.

Yeah.
I think everything's pretty good so far.
And for the elemental rule, only the cards with elements on it can increase/decrease value right?
Or do you only decrease the value of the card when you place it on an opposing element? (ie. The bomb card on an ice element slot)
EDIT: On my 15th win, it says that I can choose "two" cards to upgrade. But at the end, I accidentally chose one, but after upgrading that, it directs me back to the main page.
Is it possible to still get the other upgrade that I have?
EDITEDIT: How come when I try to view my second page of the card group, it doesn't show anything?

I haven't played the elemental rule on here yet, but the way it is supposed to work is that anything placed on the elemental spot will recieve a -1 to all sides with the only exception being if the elements match. In which case the card gets +1 on all sides.
Therefore, non-element cards would recieve that -1 as well.

Yes, but that only applies to cards who have an element to it.
For example, if you place a member card onto a elemental spot, it won't have an effect on the values. Which I think is a pretty good idea.
Yes, another question arises:
Um, when I played the Direct rule with Nikkeh, it seems like the rule has no effect whatsoever, I still got my cards and she still got hers, even though we jumbled it up during the game.

I haven't experienced that one - I got all the right cards when I played that rule with Holy_Aeris a while back...

Ok, I thought of another thing, again though, if it's difficult to do just forget about it, no big deal. But it would be nice if your opponent couldn't just leave. I think right now if you leave the game keeps going, right? Maybe if someone doesn't take there turn in 5 or 10 minutes the other guy could have the option of forcing a forfeit?
Just a thought.

I like it - but it would have to be 10 minutes, as some computers aren't particularly fast, and if you add thinking and planning time, then you'll realise that those 5 minutes have gone very quickly.

Feel free to continue this discussion in the announcement. Really this was meant for pre-release discussion, but I forgot to close it....
