My Third attempt at Signature creation.
There she is, my new signature, transparent background, a character cut out three different times and modified with both pen tool and all three lasso tools, resized and recut to get rid of the last carrying on tidbits and pixels.
Placed on a stock photo of space with a nifty bar for my name is created via text with a filter on it after rastorization.
I feel proud at the moment for making a modern form of the forum signature but, I know it has some design flaws. One being that bar being way too large, the text is iffy at best and the I don't know about the stock, I'm thinking I should've went with a created photoshop space atmosphere. bleh.
I just want some feedback from peoples on it since alot of people around here are quite skilled in this sort of thing and some comments would be helpful to move on past here.
Edit: Also, Thanks to Aether for teaching me and everyone else who didn't already know how to do this. Its benefitted me greatly thus far in my own personal projects.

But really, just so I don't get in trouble ;p as I said before it looks neat. I see what you mean about the text being kinda weird but then again I can't really think of any other that would look better :\
I feel like he's about to grab me :o

About the transparent background, it appears white for me . Dunno if that's because of my comp or what.
Other than that I love it. I quite like the text, though the x is a bit of a bitch, and the space background is well done, loving the concentration of stars by the Silver Surfer (right?).

Using IE Haywire? Need Netscape/Firefox for transparancies to work.
I like it. You've mastered the cutting of the silver, err.. dude and the background suits it well. Although, I'm not amazingly keen on the text and I think maybe a bit more could be done with the background? I suppose it's just down to personal preference but I think that's where there's the most room for improvement.
A border would be cool too, but pretty good going there Sioux.

Yeah, Its your browser, I guess certain ones or versions have problems with seeing the transparentness of the Signatures. IE used to have a problem with it but not now, well, if you have the newest version that is.
And thanks for the comments people, I still am proud on this Sig.

I like it. The transparency is good. Most of the time, I have trouble getting rid of the little bits of white around mine.
I do agree with Esp, though. It does need a border.

Yup. The cutting is most awesome, and I like the look of it Not overly keen on the background though. It seems a little too common maybe.
But yeah, nice work with the cutting. Looks awesome awesome.
And the problem with the transparency and IE is the png file format. If you had saved it as a gif you would have no such problems... but it wouldn't look as good because gifs can't do varying levels of transparency.

Damn nice work Sioux, it's nice to see your cutting coming along so well. Nice choice of using PNG over GIF too. I don't think this would have worked as well in 256 colours. The only thing that irks me is that it's a little bit too dark on the V4 skin. Perhaps lightening up the surfer a little might help? I dunno...
As an aside, I like the text. Although, if you're looking for something different, try making the text stars?
*shrugs*
Point being though, damn nice work Sioux.
