I'm sure everyone here sometimes comes across a movie, a book, an artist, etc that, if compared reasonably, wouldn't topple their favourites but with which they are totally enamoured when they first discover. Here's the place to let people know.

For me, it is currently Amy Macdonald. I actually only like one or two of her songs, not enough to prompt me to buy her album, but upon hearing 'This Is The Life' at work, I've started listening to those couple of tracks quite a lot.

I'm in love with OoT Link. I completed that game twice, this is my third time and I'm loving it again. And Sheik really has boobs <3

Recently, I've rediscovered Mobile Suit Gundam 0079. The entire original series redone in DVD quality and the movies in DVD quality as well.

I continued on and found just yesterday all six episodes of the fully rendered 3D Mobile Suit Gundam Igloo and Apocalypse.

They tell the story of the one year war but from the side of a Zeonic engineering ship that is basically testing(using) old weaponry all throughout the year the war lasted.

It touches pivotal points in the storyline from the original show, explores the tragic portions of the war in human lives, the worth of human life in war, and exposes the audience to the ferocity and terrible realities of Mobile suit war fare on earth and in Space.

It is my favorite thing at the moment.

My favorite thing ATM would have to be all things Zelda, except Oracles which is just getting on my nerves like it always does. Kept them for collective purposes though.

Cherry played me some Entombed at 2am this morning. I was expecting some brutal death metal with exceedingly heavy vocals, but I was surprised to find that it was more new-wave heavy metal, reminding me, though they're of two different genres, of Sacred Reich.

I was most impressed, and am on the hunt for some albums.
