Messengers
I know we have had some of these threads pop up before, but you know how the messengers (like MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, Skype, etc.) improve and what not.
Anyway, any favorites? One over the other? None at all?
I used to use AIM a shit load, but since a lot of people I knew only used MSN I decided to switch over. I rarely ever use AIM, and YIM I use only for a friend at school because I drive her back and forth to school everyday; I mostly use Yahoo for my mail.
Though now that I have my internets back I should use MECA.
Uhm... Go?

I always have Skype and MSN open. For they are much win and pretty much everyone has them.
Do you yahoo? No, actually, I do not. I also used to use AIM when I had AOL. AOL of course, is not fit for anything. I used ICQ maybe once back on the old laptop when the UFF cast were getting used to each other and establishing our many layered relationships... while hugging trees and sniffing whole bouquets of flowers.... or something.
There's a chat function on everything now. Like Facebook. Though it's fucking annoying. Some guy was trying to sell me SNES games... so I did what I never do and tagged to appear offline and never changed it back.

Used to use Yahoo a fair bit, but it's just average at best. AIM does my head in, so I uninstalled it. I only go on Skype to pester Tony, but it always turns into a conference call which conjures more inside jokes. Like BEEF.
Usually just MSN. Easiest way to keep in contact with virtually everyone I know.

I'm an MSN man myself mainly because I can't be bothered to install and learn all those other messengers.
I dislike AIM, never tried Yahoo, or ICQ. I like to use Skype once in a blue moon but that's about it.

I've only ever used MSN alot. Skype is there and I sign in if someone wants to chat. But apart from that it's only really MSN and the occasional chat through Facebook.
Recently though I've not been using them as I've been WoW-ing

I really only use MSN. Which works because I don't know anyone who uses something different. Maybe it's an Australian thing, MSN is really the only thing that's taken off. I use Skype to talk to my brother, which is where I hide if I don't want to be bothered.
That's about it. I've never had a AIM account, and never used YIM either.
Facebook chat works when there's no msn on a computer that I'm on, but I always forget about convos and close the window. Whoops...

Pretty much just msn. Can't really be bothered to use the others.

Tried the lot really, though pretty pointless since everyone I know is either on Skype or MSN.. which is why they're the only two I ever use now. Yahoo was just retarded and AIM was dreadful. =p
Had Google IM for a while too, but that never really took off.

I don't really use them much anymore, but I always just used aim. I could never get msn to work on my shitty old computer

I have only ever used AIM and MSN, though in the past I essentially lived on MSN, and now should I make a rare messenger appearance it is usually on AIM. The only person I need to chat with regularly is the co-owner of my website, and he only uses AIM, so... I like MSN more, though

I only use AIM and MSN. MSN more of a rarity when someone from here needs to get a hold of me. I only really use AIM when my girl contacts me.

I'm always signed in on MSN, but always on invisible mode because I'm such a shut-in.
It's really really awkward when I show my online status and someone messages me and they're like "HI! Remember me?!" and I'm like "...umm...... o_o (oh lawd it's a human what do I doooo)" Or of course there are just some people that I'm afraid of talking to. Though, that's kind of the same thing...
