Sleeping

I'm sure we've had quite a few of these threads, but might as well bring up another one up, as I'm very sleepy now and have 5 minutes to get myself out of here and to school.

Sleep time! Heavy sleeper? Light? What time do you go to bed and what time do you wake up?

Snore? Sleep walk?

Huh?!

I used to go to bed around midnight when I first started school, but lately I've been going to bed in the wee hours of the morning - (Last night being the exception that I had homework I decided to pull off till.. well, last night)

I generally wake up every morning at 8am, be it for work or school. Every day, unless it's a school day that we have off. Then I generally wake up an hour or so before noon.

I'd like to say I'm a heavy sleeper, but I'm pretty sure I wake up to every little noise, and just not remember it. I do know that I can sit up and out of bed within' seconds of my alarm, but it takes a lot of will power and focus to keep myself awake after that.

I recorded myself snoring once. That was weird. I do know I sleep talk and I have found myself occasionally sleepwalking.

Scary. o_e

My body clock used to be on top form. I could sleep late, and always wake up automatically at 7am, back when I was younger. Now, it's a different story.

I concentrate a lot on trying to fall asleep. So much so, the simplest noise throws me off. Also need complete darkness, as well. But when I've got all that, I don't sleep, I hibernate.

Even that varies, too. Every so often, I may end up being a really light sleeper, so much so that the sound of a door opening downstairs wakes me in a flash. It just is entirely random chance.

I also used to be able to rouse myself without an alarm, and even when I started using one, I'd always, always be up before it went off. Now, if it wasn't set for eight in the morning, I'd be down until midday. It's more vital than my boxers.

I've been told I snore, mumble, and apparently talk in my sleep, though I can't vouch for any of it. Really should videotape myself in bed one night.

Again, I used to be a very, very light sleeper, but now I'm almost converted to the heavy ways. Until about last year, I was able to go to bed when I like, and automatically get the 7am school wake up call. Now though, if I sleep late, I get up late.

I've been told I mumble and talk rarely, but snoring is apparently one I do if I'm not on my side when I sleep.

My sleep patterns were horrible back in Sixth Form. Worst I did was 2am on a schoolnight. I've been in the nasty habit of always going to bed after midnight, often going up until maye 3 on a day off, and 1-ish for college.

Now it seems to be more random than ever, as falling asleep has never been particularly good with me. I've spent pretty much the entire Christmas period having sleep troubles, often leading me to wake up after 2pm. Not healthy, or practical. Feels terrible, too. I have one of two things to blame for this... illness, or WoW.

I don't need very much sleep at all, only a few hours, which I take at varying times of night. I will always wake up after those few hours, though I can go back to sleep if I want to. When asleep, nothing can wake me up, and I can sleep in any condition. The only situation that I struggle with is travelling. I don't snore or sleep walk, but have been known to sleep with my eyes open.

When I first started working after school, I'd sleep only four hours a night. It was all I needed. Go to bed at 3am, get up at 7am.

Now however, I go to bed usually between 11pm and 1am and then always wake up at 6:56am. Always.

Always been a heavy sleeper. Provided there's no light in the room, I go straight off and don't wake up until morning. Can't sleep in the day unless I'm seriously sick. Plus, when I wake and it's light - I'm awake. No more sleep. In fact I once had my door broken by a drunk at uni who put his foot through it and slept straight through all the noise. Woke up the next morning to find a boot stuck in the door.

I like to sleep late. I rarely get up until I absolutely have to, and stay up if I don't have to get up early the next morning.

When I've got uni, which starts at varying hours, my sleeping pattern is pretty shot. I'll get up 7:30 one day, 11 the next, and then 7:30 again the next.

At the moment though, I'm working, so I hafta get up at 7 each morning Weekends I try to sleep in, but generally only can until around 11ish.

I definitely sleep talk, and snore a bit too (I think). Usually takes me a little while to get to sleep, and I might wake up once in the night, but that's about it.

I'm also particularly susceptible to sleeping when in a moving vehicle. As soon as I hit highway, (or air) I'm pretty much asleep (unless I'm driving).
