999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, the visual novel survival game, is getting a sequel! And Aksys Games is localizing it! And it’s Currently in development by Chunsoft, Kyokugen Dasshutsu Adv: Zennin Shibō Desu (translated as “Extreme Escape Adventure: Good People Die”) will continue the intense style that 999 brought to the table, and will even feature some familiar faces.

IGN has a nice rundown of what you’re in for, but the long and short of it is that you’ll pursue a similar goal of escaping with your lives, with your actions having different consequences as you progress. The 3DS title will also feature awesome 3D models of the characters.
