An American exchange student is currently living with us, and he has taught me that I am apparently what you Americans call a party pooper.
Now I'm not one to criticise (ha, ha), but this has got to be the stupidest slang I have ever heard. What is your excuse for this horrible, linguistical mistake?

I'm sure though that most people from different countries think the same about other country's slang, for example I find most british idioms and slang to be complete and utter drivel. And I looked up some Denmark ones too, it's no shining linguistical masterpiece either in the slang department.
