I know considering its roots started with the creator using actual bugs on the playground to fight each other.
And not only that but, there is this asian daytime TV show dedicated to watching insects fight each other. You can catch them on Youtube. The ones with either a Desert Wasp or Centipede ones are usually pretty good.
