Haha, I'm learning about supersonic flows this semester, and next semester I'm taking rocket propulsion, so yeah, rocket science. I don't think saying that will ever get old.
The math can be a pain in the ass though. Hooray for Matlab?

next week is midterm week for me D:
I'm totally unprepared for that too.
But it seems like there really are only 7 other people left in my English class. We started with like.. 25-30 students? I thought they were just ...ditching a lot, but it seems like they all dropped. I feel so elite now. But I'll be happy so long as I can get a C or better.
I have no goal in life yet. So far all I'm doing is aiming for the level 1 JLPT, which has nothing to do with college... I don't necessarily plan to use it for anything professional... I just want it.

I had midterms last week, only had to do one all-nighter fortunately. Couple of my friends didn't sleep for three days.

Eh, a while back I kept myself up all night with coffee when I was trying to finish an assignment... well, it kept me awake, but my brain was fried. I ended up not going to class anyway because I felt so crappy the next morning.
Green tea works better, as far as caffeine distribution. But I hate staying up past 2AM, it doesn't really do me any good. I've never been able to pull a true all-nighter, sleep is way too precious. It's a lot more important than grades... when I'm tired

Mmmm, Coffee. I've only really had to do them on purpose this semester, the amount of work I've had has really picked up. Some of these reports take 20-30+ hours, and I have three lab classes so I've always got at least one to do. Right now I have four to work on, so I'm sure I'll be very busy this weekend.
You do feel a bit funky though the next day after an all-nighter, that's for sure. Ah well, that's why the weekends are for sleeping.

Took me four years to appreciate Matlab. But yes, horray for Matlab!
Do you get a build a rocket? A group in my school got to design, build and test a scramjet in their final year. Twas pretty awesome.

I've been building model rockets since I was like 10, but not on a really big scale.
As for with the school, maybe. Senior design projects are pretty varied, so it'll depend on who I pick for my prof for that class, they all have their pet projects. One just built a weird looking P-38ish plane for a UAV weightlifting competition, and came in third solely because they didn't cut corners to save weight, and therefore didn't crash like everyone else. Next year they're going to try and make it autonomous.
There's a rocketry club on campus that recently got picked up into a NASA internship program. If you get accepted into the internship then you get to work with NASA money, and I think their latest project was some sort of sounding rocket with an aerospike nozzle. Which reminds me that I have to apply for that.

:'D I love that you've always been a rocket scientist. I wanted to be ten things when I was little. At least now it's down to four.  ;
humm midterms. Strangely enough I don't have one for Anthropology; just field work. I'm going to be a Buddhist and live with the monks on and off for 8 weeks. :o Excited!

Those crazy Buddhist monks. So what are your four choices down to?
Speaking of Buddhist monks, I'm working with some to get their house/cabin/thing off the grid in northern Arizona with a club I'm in. Missed the chance to go up and meet them though due to aforementioned all-nighter.
Any yeah, rocket science is pretty awesome.

Good question! It changes every few months but there's always four, for some weird reason But primarily counseling, social work, teaching or fashion design. *shrug*
Problem with design is my inspiration comes in random bursts; it'd be damned near impossible to keep even one boutique going. You have to have clothing lines comin out of your ass. :| Oh well.. I can sew my own shiit and I'm happy with that.
Will you build me a rocket Geoff? I've got a few people I want spaced..

Haha for sure. I'll go ask my NASA people if I can get some space on the next shuttle launch. Sewing is pretty impressive, I think I made like... a potholder in 7th grade. First and last time I've ever sewed with a machine.

Maybe if Phoenix and Myst combine minds they can make a rocket propelled robot that uses hamburgers as fuel....with a mustache.

The more trailers and sneak peaks I see of the film itself the less I want to see it.
