I remember when I was just a wee lad and had just discovered the internet. It was a mighty fine place to be and there was so much pornography to look at. A brand new world of nudity, as a were. But despite being a wee lad it wasn't me only interest. Oh there were other things. Other things I enjoyed. Sometimes even more than porn.
And I came across this discussion forum of sorts, where people met and chatted and discussed the details of life, love, and goatse. And I remember we discussed these video games also. Oh, those shiny boxes with CD's in them, and you put the CD in the machine and the machine was connected to the controller, and it was pure, innocent fun. As pure and innocent as beating hookers to death and nicking their cash and their knickers. Great fun it was.
But there were these other games as well, where you levelled up and the music was by this Japanese genius, and I came here and I remember this girl. Lovely girl she was, went by the name of Kat. I wonder how she's doing today. Is she still alive or has old age claimed her? Maybe she's perfectly fine. I don't know, not really. I've been wondering for years and years. Never got me a good answer.
Edit: The nurse says it's time for my nap and that I'm just confused. I gave her a spank on her bum and blamed it one the confusion. Heh-heh-heh, sneaky bastard, I am.

Alright old man, time to get you back to the home. Why don't you tell me again about the time you walked uphills both ways to school in the snow while I get you into your restraining jacket.

Are those games that bad? Yee-ikes. But you are totally right, the late PS1 days (namely FFIX) were the best. Not least because it's the only one of my games that plays properly anymore...
Since I 'converted' to Assassin's Creed, my life has been a bit better. Went through a messy break-up a few months back, and the only time I felt anywhere near back to normal was in the company of Altaïr and Ezio...
No sleep tonight. Slept in until 1 this afternoon, and I'm just not tired. That'll teach me not to do this again... I weep for my colleagues in the morning.

Hii jonesie Nah I'm just sad over KH cause I think II ended it nicely; they need to stop it with all these spin-offs And TWEWY I liked but I don't really see the big hoopla..still not the same as those late Final Fantasies. I haven't really been touched by an RPG since FFIX. Those were some magical times, we actually talked about them for pages and pages whether it was deep philosophical stuff or those inane "what's like your favorite outfit?!" ones that I so very loved.
I really liked AC too though For a while after I finished playing I kept looking around the city and thinking "oh I can scale that wall," or "I can jump that". teehee
But I hear you girl ;( breakups are never fun; I'm still mourning a big breakup myself and it's been two years

I probably had one of the worst nights I have ever had last night and I have had some rough times in my life but that one was one for the books.
The kicker being the day began decently too. My boss and I were going to meet with some friends after work and watch some movies, drink some liquor, and play some Magic the Gathering. But, no. This rich douche bag from Leed, South Dakota has to come into the Casino and ruin our night.
It all started when a co-worker friend of ours made a pretty bad call at the Black Jack table to which the man in question whom was sitting next to her physically hit her-not a punch or anything-but a disrespectful slap with his fingers. The floor manager pulled me over and we called surveillance and they verified the act and we tried to peacefully get him out of the casino.
It turns out not only was he drunk and hiding it extremely well he decides to make the biggest scene possible. Not only does he get in my face but, literally calls me a fucking idiot over, and over, and over again ad naseum from the casino floor all the way back to his hotel room(I had to escort him). He even tried to make me open his hotel room for him with the keycard five times.
I have never been so angry in my entire life. Seriously, one elbow, one kick, one move was all I would have needed. But, I like being employed and not being sued so...yeah. I had to take that nonsense for 20 minutes until the incident ended.
Sorry for slamming this down like this but I needed to vent. I already did at work today but writing brings a little more closure but what I really need is a punching bag right now.
Oh and Hi Kat.

Ugh that fucking sucks dude :| Rich assholes are the worst assholes. I worked for a total of two weeks when I was waitressing but then I had to quit; I just couldn't take it. The customers were nice, it was the owner's wife I couldn't stand. I think she was jealous because her husband was really fond of me. That's why I'm working hard to build a small business for myself 'cause with my temper and pride I just can't imagine myself being bossed around by someone else for a long time or having to bite my tongue when customers are being rude.
And that's sooo cute =^___^= can never have too many VG kitty comics~!

Boo uni starting tomorrow. Though I'm only going two days a week, and it's my last semester. About time, too. After doing a regular 45ish hour work week, school is just not appealing anymore.
On the topic of work, I have had some fairly ridiculous customers in the past, but thankfully none as bad as yours Sioux. Thankfully as an entry level engineer, once I start my job I can probably avoid having to deal with my companies customers for a few years anyways.

It is what I get for working as security at the Casino. It isn't really a nice Casino either. It apparently is on the down slope from its golden age at the moment and is only getting worse as each year rolls by. Truthfully, I am there for the paycheck first and experience/customer service second. It sounds bad but this place is really that bad. Due to the turnover rate of quitting/fired workers I have already done a handful of doubles and I am not even out of my 90 day work period.
Anyways, most of the time it is only drunk Indians I have to deal with and most of those are older males and females so I have had yet to deal with a irate drunk like this whom tried to step up and nearly make physical contact with me.
My supervisor told something like this would happen to me eventually though like it has to practically everyone on the security staff at one point or another over the years. He also said most likely it would be a white person whom would be drunk and would be throwing their money around the casino and would violate whatever rule to get them thrown out and it could potentially become a scene. He was all too right on all counts in my situation.
BUT ANYWAYS, it is water under the bridge now so blah.
Let us return to the topic at hand. Yes, Kat, what is this business you speak of?

I love The Gamer Cat comics, but I like a lot of what Celesse does. Initially saw one of the comics on DeviantArt (which I'm not too proud of admitting)
You guys & you're customer experiences. I know your woes all too well. I would shamelessly plug some reddit comics I may or may not have made in relation to where I work but I don't think I'll humiliate myself further. Long story short: Customers who confuse Metamucil with Tang make crappy choices. ba-da-tch.
Night shifts at any retail stores come with lots of stories of their own. You get the weirdest of customers crawling out of their homes/bars at that time of night to shop for supplies for the next fortnight till they have to come crawling back to restock. Not to say day times are any better but we don't have as much of the normal people to hide the other guys. But oh, some of the people that I've seen... the stories to be told.
Also, if I had to guess, I'd say Kat's business either includes something with the fashion industry or cats. Or both. I'm going with both.

I've met some people where Metamucil is essentially tang. Doesn't event effect their bowels at all.
