Crisis Core to Feature Unique Battle System

Square-Enix has revealed some new information on the Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core battle system. The battle system will be called "Digital Mind Wave" and it is an unique combat system in which reels will appear on the left side of the screen and Zack will be able to perform abilities gained during battles with other characters of the game. It is, basically a slot machine, so when the images and numbers on the reels are identical, Zack will strike enemies with the attacks of the character whose image appears on the reels.

Also, some of the Turks like Rude and Reno will be making a return.
