Final Fantasy XXVII appears in Deus Ex: Human Revolution

AP | March 2, 2011

Deus Ex: Human Revolution developers Eidos Montreal have dropped a bit of a fun reference to their Japanese owners and bosses in the upcoming Sci-Fi Action RPG/Shooter, featuring a promotional poster in the game for Final Fantasy XXVII - 27.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is set in the year 2027, so Eidos Montreal are essentially predicting that Square Enix will release 14 Final Fantasy titles in the next 16 years! Somehow we kinda doubt that, but it's a cute little nod to Final Fantasy fans anyway.

Spotted in a Deus Ex Press Demo by the guys over at Siliconera, they describe the poster in the game as having a "stern gothic lolita female character with long brown hair and a flowery headband" - Square Enix's logo also appears on the poster.

Thanks, Siliconera. Remember you can find all the screenshots, artwork and trailers of Deux Ex: Human Revolution over in the Media Vault.
