Ehhh.. I think the game will be OK, but I'm going to guess that it ends up around a 5 or 6/10 game. Its main puoprse is obviously to cash in on the franchise, but it really strikes me as a Gauntlet Legends or Champions of Norrath style game with some improvements and a different view. It just doesn't wow me. Don't get me wrong, I love LOTR, but unless you like games like Champions of Norrath and similar games, I can't honestly believe you'll like this game. If that sort of game is your style, then hey, probably the game for you.
