In a recent interview, Square-Enix president, Yoichi Wada, revealed that SE is considering releasing new titles of its acclaimed RPG franchises, Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, on the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3. President Wada said:

"We will decide by E3 in May [2006] as to whether to release them on both the PS3 and Xbox, or just one platform,"

Square-Enix had already comfirmed Final Fantasy XI for the XBOX 360, so it isn't much of a surprise that they would release new FF games for it. We'll have to wait and see if Square-Enix will stick with the PS3, move on to the XBOX 360 or produce games for both.
