A great darkness shrouded the world.

The vast and expansive plains of the world are riddled with monsters of all shapes and sizes. The cause of this outbreak is unknown, but some speculate that a disruption and imbalance of the four elements of the world: Fire, Earth, Wind, and Water is to blame. Something of great evil must be behind this undoing. To make matters worse, a nearby kingdom's princess has been captured by a dark knight in a dark temple. The King has asked these four brave warriors to save her.

The four warriors must begin their quest by defeating this dark lord, and then march against the tide of evil that blemishes the premises.
