New FFXI Content Out Today
March 23, 2009
The latest mini-expansion to Final Fantasy XI, titled "A Crystalline Prophecy" will be made available for download to players of FF11 through Square Enix's PlayOnline browser today. The expansion is download-only, and has a lower price-tag to reflect this.
The expansion sees players have to cope with strange occurrences across the world of Vana'Diel caused by a giant Crystal hanging in the sky. The content will bring new storyline twists and turns along with new missions.
This is the first of three expansions, all designed by a team led by Masato Kato, the designer responsible for the stories and scenarios of the core FFXI game and it's first expansion pack.
Add ons two and three, "A Moogle Kupo d’Etat – Evil in Small Doses" and "A Shantotto Ascension – The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born", will be released later this year.
