Famitsu Stalls with last FF13 Info
April 8, 2009
Japanese magazine Famitsu is clearly running out of things to say about the FF13 demo and with the demo almost in the hands of the public the Japanese magazine dug out some new but rather useless information for its latest issue.
Most of the stuff covered in this week's Famitsu is stuff mentioned in the Dengeki interview which
we translated last week.
However, there was some small, new information.
Again, the magazine confirmed that the demo will see players take control of Lightning and Snow. Cutscenes can now be paused and skipped at will, and as mentioned previously the camera will be under player control in battles.
It's also revealed that all the NPCs in the game are fully voiced (this seems like a big claim to us though, as not many RPGs do this - we'll wait and see if they only mean cutscenes) and surround sound style stuff is being implemented so sounds get louder as you get closer to them.
It's not much, but it's goodto know that the Japanese press are still FF13 crazy.
We'll be bringing HD video, screens, translations and impressions of the demo next week, so
