Hear FF13's English Theme Song AP \| November 13, 2009 Here's Leona Lewis' contribution to the world of Final Fantasy, in the form of "My Hands" - the official theme of FF13's English release. If you'd prefer the all-original theme tune by Japanese artist Sayuri Sugawara you can pre-order the region-free version of the game over at Play-Asia or alternatively grab the Limited Edition Japanese Soundtrack. well it`s not that it isn`t a japanese song it`s just... why not just put in a Lady Gaga song it would work even better...

it would be ok if they take a good english song (something for battle/ something epic etc.)

please bring back the good old songs we all loved... i don`t think that now all girls/ Leona Lewis fans will start to play FF just because of that song....

and i don`t care "if its just an intro" its Final Fantasy the game the most of us grew up with (if you are/were into RPGs)

I have a theory as to why this drivel is a theme song. I think Microsoft had a hand in this crap. Look at the facts here: They hate anything Japanese and its common knowledge that JRPGs don't seem to sell well on 3FixMe. Hopefully, the original Japanese song stays on PS3 version.

This is exactly what we want to avoid. If we say now that we don't want Leona Lewis in the game, we'll don't have to "moan" later, when will be too late.

If you are a fan of Leona Lewis, or just you like her music, you think may can work.

The problem it's that Britney's, Rihanna's, Lady Gaga's fans could think the same if the chosen one it's one of them.

Sorry but it's not just moan, it's shout loud and clear, that they are wrong if they think the mass public are going to react possitively and buy the game, because a song unrelated to the product.

Listen both songs, read the lyrics of both songs (if you don't understand japanese, read the translated lyrics), and tell me for the god's sake, what have to do something like "and put up my make-up, talking to the mirror" with the story of FFXIII.

You stop moan, if you like Leona Lewis, buy her cds, but not pretend to FF fans have to listen a song that don't fit with the game only because you like.

The point is leona lewis is completely inappropriate for use in an rpg.It jars with the FF fanbase.Go and play FF8 or 10 listen to the the theme songs and perhaps you'll understand.

NA/EU SAYURI SUGAWARA FFXIII THEME SONG SUPPORT CAMPAIGN

We are starting with this campaign because Leona Lewis's "My Hands" has nothing to do with FINAL FANTASY.

Sayuri Sugawara's "Kimi ga iru kara" it's tied with the FFXIII story and it's composed by Masashi Hamauzu (same composer of the BSO of FFXIII).

"Kimi ga iru kara" it's a great song both in lyrics and music in the tradition of FF theme songs.

Noth Americans & Europeans deserves same treatment like Japaneses, we want Japanese audio track too and "Kimi ga iru kara" like the only FFXIII theme song WORLDWIDE.

Am I the only one who likes this? I'm interested to see how it fits into the game. While I love the Japanese artists on FF games, I think it was time to try a singer who is popular in America and Europe. I like the move, I like the song, I'm excited for the game.

Good song, and great singer, really great singer but it doesn't fit the game. Just cause the main hero is a woman doesn't mean that you could just drop an R&B song and call it a day Square Enix! What does it matter, the only good game to ever come out of Square Enix was Dissidia: Final Fantasy anyway.
