May 26, 2010
Square Enix have shocked fans who expected to have to wait months for the Playstation Network release of Final Fantasy IX by releasing it
today.
Fans in Europe will be able to fire up their PS3 or PSP by the end of the day and download the PS1 classic from the Playstation Store. The downloaded file can then be played on the PS3 or PSP, and even transferred between the two, allowing you to play on the go.
The game will set you back £7.99 in the UK and €9.99 in the rest of Europe.
