Japanese FF Fansite pegs 7 titles for Japanese Conference, new FF13 title

January 18, 2011

Japanese Final Fantasy fansite FF Reunion appears to be suggesting that there'll be seven games total at tomorrow's 1st Production Department Premiere Event - three of them new, and one of those new titles a new game in the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII series of games.

In the posting on their site, FF Reunion announces that they'll be covering the event via updates on Twitter. The event takes place from 6pm Japanese time - around 9 hours from now. After that, they list the titles to appear at the show under two separate headings.

The first heading, "Fabula Nova Crystallis Related", lists Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII, already confirmed for the event by multiple sources and a third, mystery game marked with a question mark. Based on the events of the past week, this could well be the Final Fantasy XIII-2 which Square Enix just registered their first web address for last week.

Meanwhile the second heading for "Other Works/New Titles" lists Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy for the PSP, Kingdom Hearts 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and two currently-unknown question marks.

FF-Reunion are the kind of site who have a track record of getting things like this right, so we might suggest that they've heard from Square Enix Japan PR how many titles will be at the event and what categories they fall into. As always with these things, we remind you that this is unconfirmed and firmly in the realm of rumor - so don't go getting carried away until the conference - just under nine hours to go! If there's any leaks between now and then you'll find them here.

We'll bring you all the latest from the event LIVE in 10 hours time, so stick with us and our sister site RPG Site by following us on Twitter. Here's the UFFSite Twitter Account - and here's the account of RPG Site! We'll be sharing the coverage out on both sites.

What do you think the three unannounced games will be if this pans out to be correct? Let us know in the comments.
